My wife and recently approached MW&G in order to view an apartment.We were expertly and efficiently guided through every detail by theirletting manager Amy Collins, putting our minds at rest by detailing theprecautions that were in place with regard to our Covid concerns.I was greatly impressed by the concerns and understanding Amy showedto a couple of geriatrics, being as it transpired that Amy is just 20 years old.As an employer myself I envy MW&G having such a pleasant and professionalambassador in their employ.The punchline to this ordinary comment is, that Amy mentioned, only half inpassing, that she was working from home whilst suffering herself withthe Corona virus complicated with tonsillitis. This gutsy young lady deserves unreserved praise.I hope you are listening MW&G. And no, I'm not her Granddad, but would be proud to be so.Richard Henderson

The reason I rate the service and the team, particularly Tony, is because although he wasn’t directly working on my behalf his assistance was invaluable in helping the move to progress more smoothly On the occasions I asked for help the response was excellent. So I would personally like to say a big thank you to May Whetter & Grose for their contribution to our move to Cornwall and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

FacebookMay Whetter have been invaluable in the sale of our Aunt's house. All the team have been involved and despite losing 2 buyers and with lots of negotiating this was brought to a satisfactory conclusion recently. Very professional, prompt to reply/act and very respectful of our situation right from the initial stages of viewing, valuing, providing sales particulars and then lots of marketing to achieve the price and outcome we wanted. Would highly recommend.

We viewed several houses through may whetter and grose, all were good experiences and all of the agents were well informed on the properties and very polite. When we had decided on a house to buy it was Rich that helped us to put the offer on and thankfully it was accepted. Rich went above and beyond to help the purchase go smoothly, he was in regular contact with us and even helped out with our house sale side of things (not his job to do) to help get everything through as quick and as smooth as possible. We were thankful to have such a helpful contact to go to!

GoogleThe staff at the Fowey office were very helpful and patient, it took the family a long time to get all the paperwork together but Jane at May Whetter kept in touch and we overcame the hurdles to sell the property at the end of June 2022. All dealings correct and professional with a good helping of sympathy when we encountered further problems. I greatly appreciate the way we were assisted in selling the cottage which had been in the family for nearly 60 years.

GoogleIsabel at May Whetter and Grose was our estate agent for the purchase - and from beginning to end of what turned out to be a battle of a purchase - she was brilliant. We found our new house online and called and very quickly was able to view the property with Isabel who met us at the property and gave us a knowledgable & upfront honest overview which allowed us to evaluate the property. She highlighted points of note and happily met up for a second viewing where she answered any follow up questions after liasing with the sellers. No other estate agent has gone above and beyond to help us in the process like Isabel has. Her support carried on for the entire 9 month process - from headaches with land registry to non-responsive seller solicitors - right up to a challenging completion. Without Isabel I genuinely don’t believe we would have been able to complete on what is our dream home. Throughout I knew we were in safe hands when she said “leave it with me” and that i could rely on Isabel to know what was happening.

GoogleWe have both bought and sold properties through MWG and the service on each occassion has been 1st class. Jen in particular as well as isabel have been amazingly professional throughout.Jen has gone above and beyond on many occasions in order to make sure the process was as smooth as it could be.House purchases and sales are notoriously stressful but this pressure was reduced due to Jen being so proactive and empathetic. I highly recommend May Whetter and Grose. They helped us with selling our late mother's house, which she had originally brought from. Richard was particularly wonderful to deal with as he remembered our mum and the house and so it made the process much easier during a difficult time. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and througout they have been friendly and professional. We cannot thank them enough.

We saw the development on line and decided to visit the site. The property developer actually showed us around and we agreed a price with him, but we had to go through May Whetter & Grose for the formalities. MWG had minimal input throughout the process except to get an email from them demanding £5000 as a deposit for the builder after checking our funds status was okay. They were actually superfluous to requirements, although I’m sure they’ll still collect their fee from the builder! The builder has been brilliant!

We do consider ourselves privileged to have worked alongside your Developer for many years now and you are correct that he is very hands-on during the sales process. We trust him to be able to deal with purchasers in the same way that he trusts us during our pre and post-planning consultations, valuation research, market demand surveys, right down to finding him proceedable buyers that we have carried out our due diligence exercises such as anti-money laundering and obtaining proof of funds. All this on top of continued daily chain-checking and sales chasing. I promise you Mrs P, that in today’s difficult marketplace we have definitely earnt our fee.We are glad that you are happy in your new home and we hope that you will use our services again in future.
