Trustpilotgood first impressions but distinctly average after that
First impressions with Tony was excellent. Unfortunately after that it went downhill. We were advised that we needed to speak to developer directly, which is their job and also that ‘everyone else has moved in’ so you need to. We have been in over 5 weeks and there are still 4 properties unoccupied out of the original 11.

I gave instruction to sell my property to the sales team in the St Austell branch. Although my house did take some time to sell, this is no reflection on the sales team. Throughly professional throughout, always kept up to date with viewings, feedback post viewing, diligence with queries and chasing up. I would definitely instruct them again and highly recommend.

GoogleAbsolutely brilliant experience with Jen in the Fowey office. She understood our property and straight away queried that we may have a restriction on the deeds as she'd had a similar issue in the same street, we therefore set about sorting it out early on. She was then constantly emailing and chasing both ours and the buyers solicitors as we seemed to hit an 'impasse'. Overall very happy with May Whetter and Grose in Fowey.

(Letting) I am a 24 year old and would never recommend these to anyone or my friends. The way me and my partner were dealt with had made me never want to rent again. From feeling bullied in my own home and looked down on most the time. We have just had the worst experience. Would never recommend unless you want to be looked down on and they will never be in the wrong! Wish I could give lower than a 1

Where do I start?! All the team are incredibly friendly. Polite. And on the ball. Whatever your enquiry is, they look into it immediately. Every time I called, I apologised for bothering them, but I was reassured that I could call anytime I wanted. Very understanding. Along with our awsome solicitor, we managed to go from having our offer accepted to collecting the keys in 8 weeks to the day!!! That's amazing! They totally understood our circumstances & done all they could to move things along for us & gave great advice. This is the second property I have bought from M,W&G . First 15 years ago. Still the same great service. I would highly recommend this company. They tick all the boxes. I cannot praise them enough. Also 10 out of 10 for the covid safety precautions they took! Well done to all you lovely people Thank you very much : )

The team at May Whetter and Grose St Austell helped me to sell my mother's house. They were very friendly and helpful to deal with and anyone in the office would always take a message and pass it on. I thought they had adapted well to working with the adverse conditions of lockdown and, as I could not get to the house myself, they managed all the visits needed during the course of the sale, including one to get a small repair done. I would definitely use them again.

When MWG took on the flats - what a difference!! We worked with May Whetter during Covid crisis - which was challenging to say the least - and could not have had a better experience. As everything ground to a stop in lockdown we were kept informed and given sound advice on timings and how best to proceed from offer to completion. Can highly recommend the St.Austell team if you are looking for group of highly competent professionals who not only know their stuff but are also great people to deal with.
