From a buyer perspective, my partner and I had an excellent experience with Stephanie MacNab. Jessica was our primary contact, and the amount of follow up calls she took the time to make was incredible. I thought I was persistent, but she really did make the whole experience that little bit easier. What was also great was when Jessica went on leave, we weren’t left to wait around. A handover was completed so that we had support from Sam (thank you, Sam) when it was needed. Many thanks for the bottle of fizz on completion too! It was used that evening, when we got engaged in the new home. ☺️💍 All in all, really great experience buying our first home.

Swift efficient service from beginning to end . Always someone at the end of the phone to answer any queries, we were also kept informed promptly of viewing’s and their outcomes. Jessica was particularly helpful and was regularly in touch with our buyers, feedback from such communication was always delivered swiftly to ourselves, we always felt confident in Jessica’s ability to act in our best interest. We recently move up North from London and are looking for a forever home. I inquired about a house and spoke to Stephanie on the phone. I was quite shocked at how rude she was being. The house we inquired for is cash buyers only - which we are. Stephanie proceeded to ask me 3-4 times if we are cash buyers, specifically saying “You are cash buyers, are you?” skeptically after I already told her yes 3 times. She then proceeded to offer us 1 viewing time slot, and 1 time only, with no other options/alternatives. Is this how you treat your clients? I don’t appreciate this, and quite frankly, we do not want to do business with this estate agent.

We can’t recommend Steph Macnab and the wonderful team there enough. We initially had our property for sale through an estate agent in the same village as us but very quickly became dissatisfied with the poor customer service and lack of communication and that’s when Steph Macnab was recommended to us via a family member. We quickly cancelled our contract with the first estate agent and met with Simon at Steph Macnab who was fantastic, well-informed and honest with us about our house value which only further highlighted the terrible service we had received from the first estate agent. We mostly dealt with Debbie during the whole process but all the staff were brilliant and we never had an issue in being able to speak to someone- they even have an out of hours service which is amazing when you’re working full time and trying to fit selling your house around everything else! We have to say a huge, huge thank you to Debbie. She was great at keeping us up to date with everything and was so helpful in guiding us through the process of selling our first house. She was so friendly and approachable and was clearly very good at her job- she did a lot of chasing for us and we even turned to her when we couldn’t always get in touch with our solicitor. The customer service we received from Steph Macnab was fantastic and we genuinely have nothing but great things to say about what can be a very stressful process. Thank you for all your help Debbie- we really appreciate it.

Very poor service to the buyer with very poor communication. Always seem to have an attitude over the phone everytime I ring. Latest phone call I only asked if the asking price had been met and they refused to tell me as it was against the law when Infact there is no law stating such a thing. Just being awkward for no reason.

Very satisfied (and admittedly tough) customer, from afar

Looking for an estate agent in Formby (or beyond)? Look no further, Stephanie Macnab & Team are for you! I first reached out after seeing that they’d handled a similar vacant property to the one I was planning to sell. From the outset, the information and advice I received were excellent, particularly impressive given I was transacting my sale from Australia. I opted for the Tailored Package and couldn’t have been happier. Communication throughout was fantastic, and interestingly, the buyers of my property also chose Stephanie Macnab to sell theirs, very quickly, I might add! Once the chain was established, Sam provided regular weekly updates and summaries, keeping me informed every step of the way. I’ll admit, I’m a tough customer with high expectations for customer service, but Sam did not disappoint. The UK selling process can feel a bit different, but I always knew I was in capable hands. My advice for anyone selling after a long gap (in my case, 20 years!) is simple: trust the process. From Day 1, dealing with Stephanie initially and then Sam throughout the sale, the experience was seamless. I’d give 6 stars if it were an option, and yes, we achieved full asking price, which is always a bonus. Thanks team, keep up the amazing work!
