We let our home through winkworth while we were moving to a different city. Throughout our time with them they were deeply unimpressive property managers and tenant managers. When we successfully had a buyer for the property and served an eviction notice, our tenants refused to leave, leading to a lengthy court eviction process and thousands of pounds of damages to our property that was not picked up by winkworth as it appears they stopped inspecting the property during the eviction process. My property manager either resigned or was sacked during this period of time and sent a goodbye email to me clearly written in chatGPT, beginning with "To my dear Landlord.". Communication has been terrible, guidance and advice has been terrible, responsiveness has been terrible. Overall, avoid letting with them like the plague. Update: currently trying to get a legionella report that winkworth charged me for, and they claimed that I never agreed to it and they have no record of it being undertaken!

As a buyer, I'd like to say thank you to James Jenkinson who went above & beyond to arrange a Sunday viewing (his day off) & to the vendor. James' was very profesional, friendly and informative throughout. His follow ups & communications thereafter were refreshingly engaging & genuine in regards to the potential sale. These estate agents are fantastic!! I'm actually so glad that the seller chose winkworth, because they actually were the glue during the entire process. First, I worked with Joanna who showed me the property and really interacted with a lot of generosity and kindness. She brought the human element to a process that can often be strange and alienating. She even arranged a second viewing with my child and played hide and seek in the house, which was so endearing. I really started to imagine myself in the space before I even put my offer in! After the offer, Carolina García stepped in and wow - is she great at her job! She kept in contact with me through the months-long process, explained things even when the solicitors went quiet, and always assured me of the progress. She tempered my expectations when I (and the seller) got frustrated with delays that were beyond us. Lastly, the office reception was nice when it was time to pick up keys. They warmly congratulated me on my first home purchase and gave a bottle of bubbly 🥺 I don't think I would have purchased this property without Winkworth, so the seller really owes them one! I had interactions with impersonal and cold agents immediately before this and it put me off the properties they were representing. I couldn't be more celebratory of this agency and will gladly recommend them to buyers and sellers alike. ✨
