Bairstow Eves Folkestone were by far the best estate agents we dealt with during a 14 month buying/selling process, during which we dealt with multiple agents. We purchased our property through them and they were supportive, responsive and helpful throughout. Claire Reene was like a dog with a bone, she got that sale pushed through for us! The branch agents we dealt with organised additional viewings for us which helped us in getting things set up ready for us to complete. We highly recommend using Bairstow Eves Folkestone branch and if we are in a position to, we would use them again ourselves.

We were selling our late mothers house as executors and Claire and her team took a lot of the worries away at an emotional time by helping find us the best price and ensuring the sale went through seamlessly. They handled all the liaising with our buyers and solicitors keeping us up to date throughout the process to ensure a smooth and pain free sale. They are also really nice, friendly people to deal with. Would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Bairstowe Eves, (B.E.) Terrible service. 4 months on the market 1 view, no sales. Neighbour's home, different agent, 2 months on the market, 16 viewings, and sold. New agent for us, 1 month on the market, 6 viewings, and sold. We couldn't recommend them, they're useless. They are linked to Countrywide, who are equally useless. - Countrywide Lettings dept. They are tenant friendly, and owner hostile. They let tenants use emergency call out, to switch on a heater. They allow the tenant to break into a padlocked area and refuse to do anything about it. They charged 370 for a professional clean before start of tenancy, and didn't charge the tenant anything at checkout, despite our home being left dirty, cupboards filthy, freezer over frosted and carpets not even vacuumed. They are not interested in owners and dismissive of owner complaints. They cannot be trusted. Add to this a Management contract with many additional costs, and it is not cost effective to use them.

I can’t recommend Bairstow Eves in Folkestone highly enough. Claire and her team have been absolutely fantastic throughout the house selling process and have genuinely stood head and shoulders above other local agents I’ve used previously. They’ve been consistently attentive, professional, and proactive, keeping me fully informed at every stage and always responding quickly to any questions. Nothing has felt like too much trouble, and their level of care and organisation has made the whole experience far smoother and less stressful than I've experienced in the past. A great team who clearly take pride in what they do. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them to my friends and family.

Me and my partner have recently been able to find our first flat with Bairstow Eves. We had Louise Ive from the lettings team and from the very beginning she was fantastic. When it came to finding the initial property she was very quick to react and managed to get us a property viewing within a few hours !! we loved it so we decided to go for it and Louise was very supportive and helped us around referencing and checks and everything was all greened after 24 hours. During the 24 hours she kept us updated with everything going on and a couple days later we was confirmed that we was accepted to rent this property. There was no issues regarding this application for us as Louise acted on all the possible negatives very fast. Added bonus - They even gave us a move in gift box with lots a little gifts and vouchers that we could use to build up our property. we loved in and would HIGHLY recommend her and agency when it comes to finding the perfect property for you :)

As a first-time buyer, I received absolutely outstanding service, I couldn’t have asked for more. While searching for properties online, I came across one of their listings and requested a viewing. The very next day, I received a call from Stephen, who booked me in straight away. At the same time, he asked if I would like to speak with a mortgage advisor. I agreed, and I’m so glad I did. I had previously spoken to another advisor and wasn’t very impressed, but meeting Samuel Wilde completely changed my experience. From our very first meeting, he was fantastic, he explained everything clearly, explored all my options, and gave me great confidence as a first-time buyer. Later that same day, my wife and I viewed a property just five minutes from where we live. We really liked it and put in an offer, which was unfortunately rejected. Easily the most unprofessional estate agents I’ve ever dealt with in 12+ years of renting. Liv and Mandy have been consistently rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. My deposit is being withheld with no explanation or updates, despite repeated attempts to get clarity. The way they operate shows a total lack of transparency, accountability, or even basic respect for tenants. Instead of clear communication, I’ve been met with rudeness and obstruction at every step. If you value professionalism, honesty, or even just basic courtesy, avoid this agency at all costs. They make an already stressful process deliberately worse.

We couldn’t have asked for better support than the team at Bairstow Eves Folkestone. From start to finish, the whole team were quick to respond, kept us updated without us ever needing to chase, and genuinely cared about making the process as smooth as possible. Our mortgage advisor ( Samuel Wilde ) was fantastic, helping us every step of the way, from finding the best mortgage deal right through to exchange of contracts. Whenever we needed assistance with paperwork, he was always available and willing to guide us. I was buying a property for sale with Bairstow Eaves Folkestone. It was a lengthy process taking over 5 months due to various problems. The sale was completed at the end of March Even though I wasn’t their client the service was amazing. The most important thing for me was communication. I was dealing with Emily , she kept me up to date, always phoned when she said she would and answered my voicemails and e mails promptly. The purchase got really complicated due to Freehold issues and I have to say Emily was more use to me than my solicitor at times. I would certainly recommend Bairstow Eaves.
