GoogleIt was really awful experience. They charged us 250 GBP for doing nothing when i asked about the services for which they are charging us instead of showing details branch manager Danny tried to intimidate us saying we will take you to claim department. Very rude guy. Can anyone guide me as i wanted to complain about them.

Dear Shani Thank you for your review we take all customer feedback extremely seriously. You instructed us to rent your property. Speaking to Mr Eldridge, who is a Director of the company, he ran through our terms and conditions when you instructed us highlighting the 14 day cancellation period and the fee. Our company advertised your property on Rightmove, Zoopla, Nethouseprice, Primelocation and Onthemarket websites arranging 5 viewings for a block viewing to be held on a Saturday. You were supposed to drop keys into our offices for the viewings, however, when we finally made contact, you stated you did not wish to use an agent. At this time the costs were explained to you and you stated you would visit our offices to pay the cancellation fee the next day. Having failed to visit our offices to settle the outstanding account, we sent a number of letters to you with regards to the outstanding amount, which you have failed to respond to. During your visit to our offices yesterday I understand that Mr Eldridge had to ask you to lower your voice as there were other clients present, and we detailed the work we had carried out on your behalf. Your conduct was unacceptable during this meeting. We would like to resolve this matter and would invite you to arrange a meeting to discuss the situation. GoogleWarren, Danny and the Team have been great on all 3 occasions we dealt with Sherwoods. We bought our 1st home through them 11 years ago and sold it through them on the 1st viewing this year. Warren has excellent knowledge of the area and will always price the property realistically and fairly - this is what guarantees quick and secure transaction. They are not the agents who will promise unrealistic price just to get you signed up with them and a week later will be advising on the price reduction, it’s not how it works with them. They work hard to qualify their buyers and do their best to achieve the best price possible for both the client and the buyer! I also bought an investment property through Warren last year and the experience again was great! Being an estate agent myself, I can confidently say these guys are doing a brilliant jobs and are the best in the area! I will not hesitate to recommend them or deal with them again in the future! Great work!

GoogleI was discouraged from viewing a property on Staines Road and also making an offer. DANNY was very rude. Try Readyestates much more helpful or one of the other agents.

The property you wanted to view on Staines road, was actually fully booked with a back up list of potential viewers who wished to view the property, unfortunately there weren't any cancellations. It is company policy that you view the property before making an offer this was explained to you in the conversation held. GoogleSold a property as a consequence of a messy divorce. This combined with the sale seeming to be endless (leasehold issues etc) made the whole process extremely difficult. It was however made bearable by the outstanding service from Sherwoods. From the offset I was treated with both professionalism and understanding. I had one main contact (Warren) who seemed to have a never ending amount of patience, yet was happy to chase when needed and follow up on any queries raised. I was very happy with the service provided. If I ever lived in the area again they would be my first port of call.

GoogleI am extremely happy with Sherwood's, they have been very helpful and have sold my house within a week of it being in a multi agency agreement unlike the other estate agency's they help calm me down and understand how I feel as I am 75 years of age and I didn't like to be hassled by people randomly turning up to the house, the negotiators were very friendly and always checked up on me and would arrive at least 5 minuets early so that they would be on time. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for all your help I would defiantly recommend you to anyone

GoogleI was really pleased when Sherwoods sold my house. Not only was their service extremely professional, but they were also very punctual and a general pleasure to do buisness with. Even after they found me a buyer, they kept me updated on how the sale progressed so I wasnt left in the dark waiting, and the solicitors which they recommended were also very fast acting and very helpful. I will definately be recommending Sherwoods to any friends and family who are lookiung to either buy or sell in the near future! Overall an excellent service, and one which I would definately use again! Thank You!

GoogleThe most unprofessional agency ever been in contact with. Very rude and hard to deal staff, unresponsive and not solving the problems (sometimes even delaying). Fraser Hardley even tried to put pressure not to leave a property.

Dear Alexandra Thank you for your review we take all customer comments seriously at Sherwoods. We understand that your partner rented a property through us. Unfortunately we had to ask for the correct notice to be served which is two months, at the end of all tenancies there are certain protocols we have to follow including a check out, we have then taken the landlords instructions with regards to the condition of the property and the landlord has confirmed they wish to claim some money from the deposit. We confirm we are solely the administrators of the deposit and the figure is the sum the landlord wishes to claim. We have merely taken her instructions. If you feel the claim from the landlord is unjustified, you can reject the claim online. The deposit service also offers a free dispute resolution service should you and landlord agree to use it. GoogleGood service. Communication could have been a little better for example my property was empty so I wanted to be made aware every time there was a viewing and this didnt always happen. But the transaction went smoothly and I was overall happy with the service provided plus a great rate !
