GoogleWednesday afternoon 23rd March a house was put on the market that my partner and I were interested in. That evening we sent an email to Eric Clarke stating our interest and made a full offer the seller was asking, even though we hadn't viewed the property. This was followed up the following morning reiterating our interest and again made the offer. This was rejected by the agency as we couldn't make an offer without viewing the property first. I then asked for a viewing as soon as possible as we didn't want to lose out on this property only again to be turned away as they hadn't arranged anything with the vendor to make such arrangements and it would be the following week before anything can be arranged. So, how is it, this property has been sold by Friday 25th March if viewings can't be arranged?

We are very sorry that you were not happy with the services provided by our agency.
In this case however, we feel that some points do need to be clarified.
As is typical of todays market, we are inundated with calls and requests for viewings as soon as a property is listed.
When your request came through we had already filled the allotted times and appointments that the vendors of this particular property had given us.
Your offer was of course submitted to our vendors as is legally required, however they were in receipt of offers well in excess of asking price after the first lot of viewings, one of which they were happy to accept straight away. When asked if they wished to book further viewings, they declined.
We of course completely understand that looking for a new home in todays climate can be stressful, and are more than happy to have a chat to discuss your requirements in the event that something else comes to market that may be suitable.
