Mine was a relatively simple sale - one bed flat , no chain not very exciting but that didn’t effect the level of service, enthusiasm and professionalism of James, Derek and their staff. All went smoothly and when legal people seemed to be dragging their heels a bit they were on them and by contacting them for updates daily the sale went through relatively smoothly. As I was over 200 miles away it was a relief to have people that could deal with everything , do all viewings with little input from myself. Highly recommend

We are now almost at completion after a very long and challenging property journey of around nine months, and I honestly don’t think we would have reached this stage without James and the rest of the team. We had a great experience with selling our property with Keats Fearn. We had 4 local agents come out to value our property, we feel that some gave unrealistic high valuations just to try and get our business and also gave a very large price range (50k range) which made it difficult to understand our affordability and set our expectations, and made us query their understanding of the current market. Keats Fearn were different - James the director was extremely thorough during the valuation process, he presented us with his market research and explained his proposed marketing strategies as well as a realistic, smaller price range for our property. He identified some features and selling points for our property that were missed by other agents. We ended up with a sale agreed within 3 weeks of putting our property up, within the predicted price range, which was impressive given the current reportedly slow market. James has been proactive throughout and kept us well informed. Keats Fearn worked very hard to ensure sales progression, helped to chase outstanding things from all parties, estate agents and solicitors. We would recommend Keats Fearn if you are considering selling in their catchment area, although they might not come out as the highest valuation they are realistic and accurate and will work really hard to sell your property. I would highly recommend Keats Fearn. James Fearn did a thorough examination of the property to be sold and gave good advice. He and his team were proactive in getting viewings, always responsive to any queries and did what they said they would do. Once a buyer was secured, James and Derek regularly reviewed the case and chased up individuals and solicitors as necessary, particularly when there appeared to be unnecessary delay. Keats were the agents for our recent sale and purchase and we couldn’t fault them. James and Derek were professional, friendly and really helpful in keeping things moving along (especially when the bottom of the chain stalled due to a legal matter which I’m sure would have taken much longer to resolve if Derek and James didn’t keep following up progress with our buyers agent and their solicitors). Very proactive, great communication and pleasant to deal with. After a good start our house sale/purchase collapsed into tatters and came to a grinding halt.
