A shocking experience of customer service from a member of staff at Aldershot branch. Not all deals pull through, however, you don't speak aggressively to a customer and warn of not being able to purchase a property via Bridges in the area. Worst customer service experience ever.PS Reply: Day 2/3 of starting a process can’t be late stage, can it? Please get your justifications correct.. thanks

I can't be sure but it feels like they're advertising homes that are not for sale purely to gather the data of more potential buyers (Aldershot branch). A house went up for sale on Zoopla on 10th August 2023 (I checked this on the advert history). I called on the 11th August to book a viewing. Went through the process of updating all my registration details, was told Tuesday 15th August would be good, great. They said they would confirm with sellers and send me confirmation email. Today (Monday 14th) no email yet so I emailed them to check all was going ahead and shortly received a viewing confirmation email (10.05am). At 10.16am they called me to say the sellers are reviewing offers so not doing further viewings. So it took 2 business days for you to advertise a property and it get offers? I doubt it in this market. If it had offers before today, why didn't you call me beforehand or tell me there were already offers before taking my details? Why are you still advertising it as available? What a waste of buyers time. Unsubscribed and will avoid homes advertised by Bridges in the future as I just don't trust they are really for sale at all!

GoogleThis is the second time we have used Bridges as our estate agents and once again we have been very impressed by their service. We used Bridges to both sell our home and purchase a new property which all completed last week. Although house moving can be rather stressful, Alfie Borszcz provided regular updates and pulled everything together perfectly. We would recommend using Bridges if you are looking for a company who go above and beyond to help their clients and go the extra mile to ensure the sale/purchases is a smooth as possible.

GoogleThe sale of my late mother-in-law’s bungalow has proved to be a long, drawn out, frustrating exercise, (involving an extraordinarily delayed Grant of Probate), which Kathy and Alfie have handled with expertise. professionalism, patience, good humour and an excellent understanding of our varied emotions over the last 12 months. The original sale fell through, (due to no fault of theirs), as the owner sadly passed away and the buyer withdrew their offer. Almost immediately, Bridges found another buyer offering the same purchase price, even though the housing market was free falling and we are delighted that completion has taken place today. We are extremely grateful for all the time, effort, hard work, dedication and enthusiasm both Kathy and Alfie have put in to ensure a successful sale. We thoroughly recommend Bridges Estate Agents for anyone wishing to buy or sell their property. We sold our own house two years ago and were so impressed with Bridges from start to finish, that we had no hesitation in employing their services once again. The help they gave through a number of problems was first class and sometimes they took over and dealt with some completely. I even had telephone calls and emails on weekends and evenings in order to keep me updated on progress. Very poor experience. We asked to view a property and were given the first appointment available. The day before the viewing we got an email saying the property was let yet we were apparently first in line. The company now refuses to contact us or to view any other property they advertise. Extremely unprofessional and the last thing you want in an estate agent. avoid!
