Dishonest and dodgy. We have been completely scammed by these guys. Please do not use them. They took our deposit for a property and spent it. When our deal fell through and we wanted a the deposit back, they claimed the landlord had it. He didn't. They spun us lie after lie, let us apply for planning whilst knowing full well they had stopped doing business with the landlord before we applied. We only found out after our planning was approved and subsequently lost money on the application. We looked into these guys after this and found that not only had they been investigated before but they have a habit of claiming bankruptcy and register again under a PLC or ltd and start their scam all over again. Please do not trust these guys. When we did get our deposit back it was in small amounts over 2 months...We have seen them take money out of other people's deposits from the safe in order to pay us. Do not go near them.

"At cousins we're not just a 9-5 business" their hold music states, yet their hours are literally 9-5. You will get used to hearing that quote though as they hardly ever pick up the phone when it rings, they never return calls and don't send emails when theyre supposed to. Also, what kind of a client based business is closed Saturdays? The 1 day the majority of clients can actually be there in person, and these guys go "Na, not interested".

Cousins Oldham worst company ever I have seen ,booked 2 times for the valuation and on the day off appointment they cancel the appointment.they made way down the market valuation.they don’t have any experience in valuation .you will be loosing thousand of pounds if they value your property.really poor service

Sharon our solicitor wasn't awful but…

Sharon our estate agent wasn't awful but she was very pushy and seemed to think we were holding up the process even though we wanted to move into our new house so much. The seller of our house was a Director of Cousins and he was a total nightmare from start to finish. He would threaten to pull out because of simple requests such as asking to view the house we were excited to move into. Electrics weren't safe when we moved into the house, the engineer who had to come out and look into it said we could have had a fire. We did receive a certificate before the sale that had been signed off saying the electrics were safe. He even did a viewing with us and lied and said he wasn't the owner even though I found out after he was the owner via their website. At the viewing he was extremely unhelpful and rude and wouldn't answer any of our questions.
