GoogleThey are refusing to give back our deposit and being purposefully obstructive. Avoid. If you need to unjustly keep money from your clients to fund your business then perhaps you need to re-think.
Alex - very happy to discuss this with you but I think it's important to clear up some issues from your message. Firstly, the allegation that we are keeping your money to fund our business is malicious and slanderous and should be withdrawn. You are fully aware that this held independently in the Government approved Deposit Protection Scheme. We do not hold your money and this was made clear to you at the outset. Secondly, we do not arbitrarily refuse to return deposits. We are required to act on our clients instructions (the landlord). As you have been made aware, there is a free, wholly independent process should you wish to contest the evidence when it comes to deposit deductions.

GoogleWorking with Josh Wicks on the last house sale, that our small eco home development company had taken on, was nothing short of amazing. Having secured a buyer, we found ourselves faced with the mini budget just before exchange and a sudden shift in the small chains view on whether to proceed. His calm head, excellent communication with the whole chain and willingness to follow my instructions (which may have seemed rash and could have possibly jeopardising the sale) when push came to shove allowed us to secure the sale and complete with the initial buyer. Thank you, Josh, for showing a cool head and working so hard on saving the sale, the buyer is so happy with the house and we can hopefully take on another project once prices settle a bit.
