This is the best estate agent I have ever experienced (and I've bought and rented out a few houses). The team are ethical, and have decades of experience, which not many agents can boast. They are always helpful to both buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants. I trust them implicitly and used their services for 13 continuous years to date. Under the leadership of John Vickery, you cannot find a more expert and reliable set of services.

Vickery - 5 Star service. fantastic experience

i started off with a company i knew and that wasnt a very good experience and i sacked them and went with Vickery. What a wonderful company to have dealt with, hands down. first of all the every person in their office came to our house to see each and every part of the house and get as much information as possible so they can give max information at the viewing. they have been so proactive, priced the house right, got many many viewings booked, daily updates, pushing hard for offers, keeping me informed and so on. i was impressed with their attitude in general. they are in the market to sell. i have already recommended them to my friends who are selling.

Throughout the sale and the challenges of a changing market, circumstance and difficult third parties. Vickery have maintained a level of professionalism and honest appraisal which shines out.Of particular note are the staff of the Farnborough office. NIcky, her helpful manner. From the very first meeting I knew Lewis and Stuart from Vickery estate agents were genuine, knowledgeable and engaging. Other agents might be cheaper but Vickery are absolutely worth paying that little bit extra for. Having failed to sell after 6 months on the market we swapped to Vickery and before the brochures and RightMove advert was on I had sold.........but that is half the story!After sales services were outstanding with offers of negotiating a price for my purchase property, which Lewis delivered impeccably, as well as running documents to the solicitors.All in all an amazingly stress free experience from an estate agents who treat you like a human and not a statistic.

Great experience as a buyer - would recommend

Our experience of Vickery (Fleet branch) has been entirely positive - they were the most professional estate agents we dealt with. I’d like to specifically mention Isaac who took us on several viewings - he was very knowledgeable, and really took the time to understand our requirements and circumstances, and Sarah who was great at finding properties that might suit us, and in helping with our search she struck the perfect balance of offering an attentive and personal service without being at all pushy. It was just a shame the property we ended up falling in love with wasn’t marketed by Vickery! Would absolutely recommend.

Fantastic service

Nicky at the Farnborough office has been a tremendous help in coordinating the sale of our property. She has telephoned us at least once a week with an update and on the weeks where there was no update Nicky called to reassure us that everything was still on schedule. She has been professional, helpful, reassuring, funny and knowledgeable. I am going to miss our weekly calls! We are now in our "forever home" in the Scottish Highlands and unlikely to use Vickery's services again ourselves but would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who is selling or buying a home. The reason that we chose Vickery to sell our home was based on the treatment we received when buying the property as the people we bought from were selling through Vickery. I rate them very highly.

I'm trying to buy a property in Camberley and found Ieuan to be most helpful and straightforward, seems to know the property market and is very knowledgeable indeed. I have found him to be patient, not pushy, which in my experience is very rare for estate agents.I have used Vickery's before and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone buying or selling a home.Once you've worked out how to pronounce his name " YIGH-un " he's well worth the time and effort, always calls you back and tries to be flexible to accommodate your wishes.

Fantastic service from the Camberley…

Fantastic service from the Camberley branch right from the very first meeting with Richard Orme. Unlike other estate agents in this town, Richard actually listened and treated me as an individual. Great communication and all queries answered eliminating jargon and explaining things in plain English. Jamie Collins in the same office also called me back and replied to emails promptly. James Dickson in the management lettings department based in Farnborough took over in an efficient and seamless manner. So far so good Vickery. Other agent in Camberley, take note and listen to your customers!!

I bought and sold a property in Camberley and found Jamie Collins and Richard Orme to be genuine, honest and straightforward individuals, which in my experience is very rare for estate agents.I would use Vickery again and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone buying or selling a home.Thinking of selling your house yourself through an internet based company, forget it. These guys know their stuff and add more value than you could save on fees.Maybe not the cheapest, but certainly best value for money

Extremely poor service

Selling a property is always a stressful time and Vickery made it 100 times worse. We found both the Letting and Sales teams were unprofessional, uncaring and unhelpful. We even tried to use their complaints procedure but found that also to be ineffective. We had a discussion with the CEO and found that to be just as frustrating as he insinuated that all at Vickery was perfect and no lessons needed to be learnt. We will continue with the Ombudsman process but don't hold out much hope that anything will change. Brian and Chris Haworth

Vickery Estate Agents - Appreciation

Vickery Estate Agents dealt with the very successful sale of my house and land for development in 2002/3. Subsequently they handled my purchase of two flats in a new build block. These flats were purchased to be let and Vickery Estate Agents have handled the entire letting procedures up to the present date (15 yrs). This service has been to a constantly excellent and extremely high standard. I find all members of staff highly professional, friendly and very easy to deal with, leaving me with a feeling of confidence that my flats are in safe and reliable hands.

The team at Vickery as led by Richard Orme, for ourselves, trying to sell our property and help with finding a new match for ourselves was highly professional in dealing with the current difficult market and our very specific requirements. His advice was always well considered and founded on sound research and experience. We were supported by this competent team including a new and keen trainee in Lewis. In addition, I would specifically call out the excellent performance of Amy, also fairly new to Estate agency work, she was very assiduous in assessment of our needs both as a vendor and vendee. She demonstrated a clear and positive approach to all aspects of the actions being undertaken. I thank the whole team for the work they have done in supporting us.

All talk, no action

Disappointed with the communication and misled over the "all in one" service (it's DEFINITELY not "all in one" as you have to pay separately for conveyancing on your purchase which was not made clear to us). Didn't trust the agent or the feedback we were given. Would definitely not use Vickery next time. To cap it all we've been in our new property 4 weeks today and still have a Vickery "sold" board in our garden. Really not impressed with how we have been treated despite paying well over the odds in commission and selling our property for much less than agents original valuation.

Worse than bad

If we could rate Vickery at zero stars we would do. We rented a house through them for 3 years and the service we received was poor to say the least. We have now had to go through a lengthy adjudication process to reclaim our deposit and Vickery refused to provide us with copies of inspection reports, presumably knowing that we had reported several defects during these inspections. We would never ever use this company again either to rent or buy and cannot recommend them in any way

Very disappointing

I am afraid our experience of buying with Vickery has not been great. Whilst the staff in the Fleet branch were friendly we felt the experience and customer care at the higher level lacked. Compared to the estate agent we sold through this really showed up and was just not good enough. I leave reviews like this with a heavy heart but it has to be said and I hope the company addresses their issues. We feedbacked to them at the time however the customer care was still their weak point until the end.Update:Thank you for the call and your response. It is much appreciated.

Having used Vickery to handle my recent sale, I can sincerely say that, despite dealing with very 'difficult' buyers who were impossible to contact for the majority of the time and who played a cynical game of multiple re-negotiation, Vickery were excellent. The service was efficient, value for money, professional and friendly - a winning combination!! I would recommend them to anybody considering selling a property in this uncertain market as their local knowledge and integrity of approach to the entire process cannot be bettered. I feel that they definitely got the best deal for me!

Unfair to their tenants

Unfortunately Vickery have been the worst agency we have used in years of renting. We have been left out of pocket on numerous occasions for their miscommunications and unorganised administration. After leaving and having a very positive check out charges crept out of nowhere and invoices the landlord did not pay from over 7 months ago! we where told we would have it deducted or we wouldn’t receive any deposit back so we where backed into a corner with no choice other than to accept unfair deductions.
