We're really happy that we chose Strutt & Parker in Exeter to sell our house. We had used another branch of Strutt & Parker to sell previously so knew they would be the best. Isabel Clifton took her time to walk us through every step of the process, her experience also helped us to advertise our property in the Financial Times and Country Life magazine which was a big help in gaining interest. Andrew Ligertwood from Strutt & Parker was incredible.

From the first time we met Andrew we felt confident he was the person to take our home to market. He understood us, how much a home we had built and lived in for 30 years was a bittersweet move, however the time was right to down size. He definitely understood the market, we did have some hard conversations. However time PROVED he was absolutely correct. From start to finish everything was pretty easy, and to be honest we still cannot believe how easy. This was thanks to Andrew and all the Strutt & Parker Team in Edinburgh. Everything was explained carefully and clearly. We felt looked after and cared for. Always with the upmost professional care, respect and attention to detail. We can’t thank Tom of Strutt Parker enough for everything he did for us, towards achieving the sale of our house last week. Although a stunning property, it was thatched, Grade 2 Listed and in a National Park, all attributes that in some instances can be challenging as either blessings or curses on the sales particulars! However, Strutt Parker secured a viewing within a few days of marketing and I’m pleased to say the lady viewing actually offered on the property and proceeded to purchase. Tom kept us fully informed throughout the process, was very responsive, contactable and available even during his out of hours time when required. When the process occasionally looked precarious, Tom was fully engaged and determined, through his years of experience, to iron out and resolve very quickly, any issues and anxieties that were had. We don’t normally write reviews, but in this case, my wife and I were so impressed and happy with the service provided by Strutt and Parker, and in particular by Aaron Turner, that I felt I should, in the true spirit of reviews, to offer help to those who are seeking insight into Strutt and Parker! We selected Strutt and Parker because we liked the clear market insights and the realistic approach to marketing our house, offered by Aaron Turner at our initial meeting. Once selected Aaron Turner was directly responsible for acting on our sale, but he did so much more, working to coordinate agents and solicitors above and below us in the chain, as well as keeping communications open and frequent with our buyers even when things went temporarily wrong in the chain. Best estate agent we have dealt with

We have just exchanged contracts on a house marketed by Strutt & Parker, and Aaron Turner has been a delight to work with. Although he was acting for the vendor, he invested more time and energy in keeping our purchase moving than our own estate agents did with our sales. He is calm, measured, experienced, and a great communicator. When my partner’s sale fell through and we had to pull out of the chain temporarily, Aaron was constructive and realistic about the steps needed to get things moving again quickly. Today we exchanged not only on our purchase, but also on the sales of both our properties, and Aaron has kept up momentum behind the scenes by proactively contacting all parties involved. Having experienced good, mediocre and poor estate agents in the past, Aaron, and by extension Strutt & Parker, stands out as the best we have dealt with.

Edward Thomson of Strutt and Parker is the real deal in a tank full of sharks in the London real estate market. His advice when I bought a short-lease apartment in Cadogan Place was invaluable. I have since gone on to refurbish the property and extended the lease to create some real value. I’d trust Ed, whether on the buy or sell side. He’s in it for the long-term, and repeat business is his goal. A relationship, not just a quick fling!
