After meeting several estate agents and getting valuations from all them, we were immediately impressed by Knight Franks professional and friendly approach plus their positive response to our property. Although we waited quite a long time to decide to proceed, Knight Frank were understanding, realistic, efficient and professional throughout. They prepared marketing materials, gave clear information about pricing, targeted appropriate clients for our property throughout a very difficult time. Florence Biss was our main contact and we cannot rate her highly enough, great communication, positive throughout and always responsive to our concerns. We ultimately achieved a positive outcome to a very complicated sale of house, land and outbuildings which I am not sure we would have achieved with some of the other companies. I am happy to recommend Knight Frank

As a buying agent, we see the full range of selling agents, some of whom, given the choice, we would prefer not to deal with again. At the other end of the spectrum are Louise Glanville and her team at the Exeter office. From initial viewings right through to exchange of contracts, they have been the epitome of professionalism. Recently exchanged on my Property with completion 7days from now…I only instructed Knight Frank in early January and anticipated period of the usual frustrations that go with ‘The Territory’ I was and am delighted that the stage I am at this early! Obviously you need The Property Gods to be in your Team and I feel that initially was the case however when turbulence occur as they Always do then the Professionalism of Agency is truly tested and in this regard KF we’re not found wanting! Their structure of Operation..the Personnel within that structure..Communication Skills…Proactive and Positive attitude..all in great supply when needed most.To Louise and her team at Exeter thank you..well done!!! We have been very happy with the service we received from Knight Frank and would have no hesitation in recommending them. Everyone we dealt with at Knight Frank was professional and helpful and liaison between the team was excellent. If we called and our contact agent wasn’t available, the other staff were fully aware of what was going on with our transaction and were able to help. Throughout the process their staff kept in touch with the buyers, sellers and the conveyancing teams and let us know the latest developments. This clear communication made the whole process less stressful and kept everything moving towards a successful conclusion.

Recent house purchase, just exchanged as buyer. The team at KF Exeter were very proactive and responsive (within day, sometimes within hour, historically I have been lucky to get responses within week!) to my enquiries during the whole process, moving things forward and confirming progress to all parties. The best communication I have had from an agent. The whole team were polite and professional day to day and in dealing with some of the inevitable more thorny issues. Highly recommended. The wider services support, finance in particular, has also been welcome and helpful which I did not expect, so this was a bonus.

Christopher Bailey and his team produced an excellent brochure for the property and seemed to have an endless supply of prospective purchasers and viewings. Offer to buy a house was accepted and it was up to our surveyors to highlight a Grade 2 listing. Whilst Knight Frank ‘empathise’ we are at considerable out of pocket expense. Property now correctly advertised as listed and whatever the background of who claims what, the agent is expected to have carried out due diligence to confirm facts of what they are marketing. Knight Frank Exeter blame their customer and empathise with potential buyer where legislation states an agent must disclose all information before costs related to surveying or conveying are undertaken. However, this shoddy outfit shirk all responsibility; what a reflection of where we are in todays world. Referring to ombudsman as customer service are running on pastoral ‘empathy’ rather than address a problem where potential buyers remain considerably out of pocket. Our contract was with Knight Frank and their codes of ethics and standards where due diligence is the foundation. The Exeter office has failed miserably to address their duty of professional responsibility. Buyers (and sellers) beware! (investigation response was that "we didn't know, not out fault") With a pending county court claim all is resolved!

I was interested in a property marketed by Knight Frank in Exeter and had a great deal of contact with Sarah-Jane Bingham. The purchase subsequently didn't proceed but Sarah-Jane couldn't have been more helpful. She responded to emails and calls promptly and had an in-depth knowledge of the property being marketed such that I was able to make an informed decision.
