GoogleChloe, Leanne and Christian are amazing!! The best agents to use in town for the sale of a property. Helpful, informative, responsive, and such lovely people. I would always recommend. Previous poor reviews were for Timothy Lea and Griffiths, so ignore these and give SBK lots of stars!!!

GoogleYou know how estate agents get a bad rep for their underhanded sales tactics, pushy marketing and dubious methods? Well this firm confirms everything bad that you hear. We tried to offer on properties, and the sales person here, Christian(?), tried to make us pay a £3000 'non-refundable' fee for putting our offer forward, because we were not considered "serious buyers". This was because we had pulled out of a couple of previous purchases, because of issues found on surveys, even paying ourselves, for extra checks and tests, before the negotiations hitting stalemates. We paid just over £1000 on surveys and checks, like an asbestos report, for one property we liked, before the vendor cancelled the sale themselves, and we were branded as 'not serious'(!) The gall of this firm, considering what we had already spent! They then seemed to make it their mission to block us at every turn. We dreaded scouring Rightmove and seeing a new property under the listing of this firm. Anyway, we ultimately decided to move away from the area completely, found a property we liked and dealt with a firm in the new area, who understood a buyers concerns when buying a house for over quarter of a million pounds, and helpfully mediated the whole stressful process. An Estate Agents who I rated very highly for their service. Thanks to them we completed and moved in quickly (within 8 weeks), and no doubt showed how 'serious' we were with buying a house! Thankfully we will never have to deal with SBK ever again! Make your own mind up about SBK, but look at the slew of bad reviews and comments people have left when dealing with them. They are one of the lowest rated estate agents in the area, and that doesn't happen for no reason!NegativeQuality, Professionalism

GoogleFriendly enough but slow to respond and get things sorted out, if you are looking to rent I would not recommend them. I'd suggest walking an extra 20 meters down the road to Johnsons, who in comparison were much better. Took 35 days to tell me what deductions were being taken from my deposit and a further 12 days to actually pay it back after some back and forth over email.

TrustpilotUnproffesional. evasive and rude as well as incompetent.
The lettings service is abject and extremely incompetent. They seem to believe a tenant can damage extremely difficult to replace worktops with impunity citing ridiculous 'wear and tear' excuses. Negligent sharp object gouging is not wear and tear.

GoogleWhen organising to view the property we have been very happy with the service. After a few months went by we started to notice reoccurring issues happening with the boiler,oven and drainage system. There have been 2 occasions where we have had to miss days at work due to the boiler not working and both times been given 2 different times the landlord would arrive only to be told he was going to be later when we've called to enquire why he was late. Not helpful after the contract had been signed and I wouldn't use again.
