Laura and her team in the Chiswick Rental offices went the extra mile in advising us on every aspect of finding a new tenant for our property including help with plumbers, decorators and removals and most importantly in finding us a good selection of prospective new tenants to choose from. A very hands on operation with excellent customer service and support.

I'd like to thank the whole team at John D Wood in South Kensington and in particular Umar and Angelo for introducing a buyer and working together with all parties (solicitors, managing agents, freeholders, buyer and vendor) in a friendly, personalised and dedicated way from start to finish. Although the whole process - from offer and sales memorandum till exchange of contracts and completion of the sale at the agreed price - took approximately 12 weeks, Umar and Angelo have always kept me informed of every single step towards achieving a successful sale. It was often just a text or quick phone call - even on a Sunday - which kept me motivated throughout the process. I believe that with John D Wood I have been in very good hands and would therefore highly recommend them.

We have recently had to move during COVID. It was incredibly stressful and made worse when we found ourselves unable to access our deposit back through no fault of our own. At first I was not happy with the responses I was getting until Rupert Simmonds stepped in. He went above and beyond to cut through red tape and help us to get our deposit back in full. Rupert is a credit to John D Wood!

Really bad when it comes to services. My deposit is stuck with them for more than 2 months. Always some lame excuse for not paying back. There is an property manager named Moesha, who will never address any query but will just be harsh I hope to give below 1 star but that the least i can go.

GoogleFor the first time in years I had to find somewhere to rent. I was anxious about the process, which was compounded by the fact that I had to move within a short time period. I rang CHK and spoke with Tia. She was brilliant, taking time to understand what I was looking for and talking me through the options. The entire process was handled really professionally. I am giving CHK 5 stars as the Customer Service was awesome.

Claire has been excellent in helping us find a rental properly from abroad. She was super flexible with our requirements and timing and always kept us in the loop once we found the property. She did an extra video viewing and asked many questions to current tenants on our behalf. I would highly recommend Claire and her team and if were to rent again would definitely use them!

GoogleGavin Fleming, Esher Office Manager, was a great ambassador for JDW. As a result of meeting him his team took control of the marketing and promotion of our daughter's property. Andrina Craig found the perfect buyer, someone who already knew the property and who was able to make a good offer which we accepted. GoogleThe team at John D Wood Esher have been an absolute pleasure in the handling of my house sale. Andrina and Gavin have been extremely professional and the service I received from them has be exceptional through this very stressful journey. The quality of the brochure produced of my house was stunning and I am sure was partly instrumental in attracting the right buyers. If I have to go through a house sale again I won't hesitate to use John D Wood. I would whole heartedly recommend them to any prospective Seller

GoogleDo not waste your time with this agent. I Lost two sales, wasted several months through just poor management. Do not Sell through these agents. I had to chase solicitors on both occasions and work out what the problem was after weeks of being messed about with no answers . Bad communication, poor sales progression management . So stressful and lost money. They do not do due diligence nor have a clue how to manage progression. Very poor.

I have a property which is fully managed by JohnDWoods , they couldn't renew my contract due to sick leave of their employee , they cant solve my problem I have to reach to tenant by myself and trying to solve the issues , 20 days pasts the contract end date .

This company make an appearance of disorganization, but could not possible stay in business, if they were, indeed, as disorganized as they appear. Having managed to fend me off for three days whilst I was house-hunting in France; I finally found that the gem of a house I had found - in Perpignan - was taken off the market; in order that it could be purchased by a relative of one of the partners/directors of John D Wood. Worse than inefficient and unprofessional ... very close to fraudulent! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

GoogleThe Esher office of this Surbiton headquartered lettings agency specialises in high-end property, handling tenancies of multinational corporates and HNW individuals - a demanding if not fickle end of the market where expectations run high. Accordingly, professional standards have to be top-notch and at the Esher office they most definitely are. The team is thoroughly versed in the specialist area of marketing and management of high value luxury homes. Perfection is expected. Landlords expect and in this case can be assured of receiving an exemplary service in the management of their assets, whilst tenants can be made to feel valued and very special. A tough balancing act and CHK Esher discharges its responsibilities efficiently and with aplomb. They deliver.

GoogleI have been lucky enough to have CHK look after my properties in Esher since 2009, I started off on a dual agency agreement with other agents for competition. It soon became apparent, there was no competition & for over a decade now CHK have looked after my properties, tenants & me. Very friendly, helpful & professional.

I rented a property which was managed by this company. The agents made promises they did not meet and the management agents are extremely poor. There was a flood and the information provided by the company turned out to be in accurate so they have refused to reimburse me for the hotel and all costs. I have had to instruct my lawyers to start a court process.

GoogleBuying & selling a house can be a very daunting experience & some estate agents leave people wondering what they got for the fees that they paid for. Not so with J D Wood I can honestly say I chose wisely. From start to finish they were professional, efficient, honest all the way through they told me what to expect & I got it which to me was money well spent. Gavin, Andrina, Carole & Linda did a fabulous job at marketing my house & getting it sold. The photos were great & the video was also a great touch. I would obviously do your homework first as I did, having to choose from 5 Estate Agents in the end but I knew straight away when Gavin visited that I wanted to give my business to him. I would definitely recommend J D Wood they run a really professional service.

If I could give zero I will! Awful experience starting from when they gave me the keys and then literally disappeared! Then the inventory was totally different from what I found in the house and when I contacted them they said contact the landlord we can’t do anything! Glad that the landlord was cooperative. Now after leaving the house it took them 10 days to send me the inventory checkout and I called them everyday and they gave a different story every day! Now I have been chasing the deposit for 1 month! Literally awful experience, avoid at any cost.
