With no real connection to anyone in the area where I was selling, Clever put me in touch with two competent and willing real estate agents who both reached out to me to understand my needs. This was super-helpful and really helped me get the ball rolling. The commission savings were very real, and the agent I chose was good, thorough, and very data-based. And "good" was sufficient to meet my needs, so I walked away content. Not "wow-ed", but the work was sufficient. With so little experience in this space, I don't know what constitutes "normal". That said, I felt that I was reaching out for news or updates more often than being proactively informed. My agent's contact was frequently delayed because her weeks were "busy," and while I can't point out anything that felt like a specific deficiency in her performance, I frequently wondered if I was perhaps a lower priority, or whether she was more interested in being "done" than really maximizing the value of my sale, and whether that had anything to do with my being a referral from Clever.

Overall a great experience. The only semi downside was the first couple of agents they gave me seemed inexperienced. Once I told Clever what we were looking for they gave me the name of another agent who had 19 years experience. She was amazing. Listed our house higher than expected and sold it for full asking in 8 days. We would definitely use her again. I should add that we interviewed all potential agents and then looked up their reviews online prior to selecting one. Clever just gave us the names of some agents who they use but ultimately it’s up to you who you select.

We were provided with several potential realtors and we ended up choosing Mechele who turned out to be absolutely fantastic. Right off the bat, my wife and I knew we were compatible. Matching with the right realtor was priority for us as this was our 2nd time around and knew that a good relationship will be a much more pleasant experience and memorable. We used to go to open house to find the a realtor but mosr end up coming across as being too aggressive.
