If I could leave zero stars I would. I would never use this company again if my life depended on it. Given completely misleading information which has left me, a single mom with a £6000 debt following the sale of my deceased dads property.

Great Wyrley office are pants forth time I contacted them in last few weeks they never rang me back on a property I left a voicemail so I rang again they said sorry sold so couldn’t be bothered to let me know. yesterday morning twice I rang again it’s always voicemail and I left a another message then got a call back saying I will contact the vendor and call you back well still waiting 36 hrs later a waste of time point is I am a buyer ready to go there loss plenty other good agents around perhaps that’s why I don’t see them as much as I used to carry on that way you won’t have customers to pay wages.

I trusted this company to sell my property. The property was empty so I supplied them with a set of keys so they could do viewings at their convenience. On one occasion they locked themselves out with the keys in the lock inside, they had to effectively climb over the back garden fence to get back in the property, then on TWO further separate occasions they let the front door unlocked and lights on. I try and get in touch with them to remove my property from market and they repeatedly fail to return my calls. DO NOT USE!!!!

Unprofessional and unresponsive service from Paul Carr Erdington. My purchase fell through due to their slow communication and lack of care. Samantha Bailey, who was assigned to me, rarely answered calls and provided false information about the property. Would not recommend.

Just awful people. Rude and obnoxious and they hate it when you call out their behaviour as they then gaslight you. Attitude of staff has not changed in years so owners clearly not bothered. The huge lack of diversity in this organisation tells you a lot. I will encourage anyone renting, buying, letting or selling not to give this organisation your business.

GoogleWent with Paul Carr to sell my late father in-laws house on ryland road erdington. Great team from Ian barrows to the whole sales team including Kevin and Emily. They was always on top of the sale of the house and advised us accordingly. 5 star in my opinion.

GoogleGreat team at the erdington branch. Sale fell through first time but not due to paul carr. The team got our original buyer back on track and sale completion was done in weeks. Great work by all. On a personal note , very happy for Kevin. He will know what I mean lol. Cheers, dave mchugh

Utter clowns. After 6 months in the property in Walsall, on the first inspection I told them the kitchen roof leaks, the reply was " its always leaked". It took a year to have the utility room floor repaired after it collapsed, and I had to remove the old floor the repair man left behind. It took 3 years to get the dining room ceiling repaired, 2 years to get the leaking porch repaired another 2 years to get the entrance cracked plastering to be looked at let alone repaired, but be a day late with the rent and they are straight on the phone.

Was looking to purchase a property from them drove down from london (125 miles) was told before making my way that I’d be advised of offers if any come in over mine, I left a offer 7k over asking, I then received a call asking for best and final offer but would not disclose or advise what region I’d need to be in; no assistance whatsoever… fuming as I was told they would let me know so I can adjust my offer seemed as if they have taken some under the table offer they would not disclose what the vender was looking for… birmingham must have moved itself into Scotland as that’s where sealed bids are done! Also lying to get people to waste time and effort to go for viewings then 2 weeks later I have to call back to be advised someone had put in a higher offer!!! Don’t waste your time unless you want to give them 10k under the table!

Not a pleasant experience buying from them. Found them to be unprofessional and hated visiting the sales office in brownhills. One member of staff every time we went to the office looked at us as if we were something she'd trod in, made us feel very uncomfortable. Reading the reviews on here it seems I'm not the only one to experience this unprofessional attitude.

We were coerced into using their affiliated solicitors, mortgage advisor, and surveyor without disclosure of their ownership stake, constituting a significant conflict of interest. Furthermore, their repeated threats to choose another offer if we did not comply with their demands were unacceptable. Additionally, the lack of diversity within the organization is concerning.

I have no hesitation in recommending them when selling your property.

I recently purchased a home through Paul Carr and thought when i sold a property they would be a good place to start.The customer service and communication from both the director and branch manager is extremely poor. I have emailed and called them several times and they do not have the courtesy to call you back.They are very active in trying to get your property on the market but that is about it. Whilst all businesses may struggle with staff shortages due to Covid they seem to forget these are the same customers that they will need post Covid.You may be enjoying the boom for now but i am sure when things get difficult you will wish you had looked after your clients better!

Disappointed with the service from the Kingstanding branch. At times had to chase multiple times for updates on the sale of my property, the person handling my sale in my opinion was very poor and in the end I could barely stand speaking to her on the phone. I had two potential buyers and emailed giving clear instructions to accept an offer from one buyer and not to tell the other potential buyer till I had heard re the other offer, they did the complete opposite to what I asked and contacted the other buyer who then increased their offer. I felt pushed into accepting an offer I didn’t really want to from the second buyer and don’t believe they told the other lady her offer had been accepted. I would never use or recommend Paul Carr again.

Really bad customer service at the Four Oaks. Branch ( too long a story to explain). Very inefficient and they never called us back, despite saying that they would . We must have called them about 6 times . A comedy of errors . Eventually got to view the property that I’d been trying to see for weeks ! No one ever called us back to see if we wanted to buy it ! I know it’s been tough with Covid 19 but not calling clients is inexcusable - surprised they’re still afloat as they don’t seem to want your business !! The staff don’t seem to communicate with each other .

Erdington branch (York Rd, Erdington, B'ham, B23 6TE) - absolutely awful. What a disgrace to the chain.I had to continually chase for information as nobody kept me informed, nobody answered my emails or telephone calls. The staff do not work together, so I was receiving conflicting information from the different staff when I did manage to speak to people. I raised a complaint by email which was not looked into, even though it was replied with a poor excuse.Absolutely awful - I had to use an alternative way of selling my property, as this branch were not interested in selling my property at all. For 16 weeks, there were NO viewings through Paul Carr, Erdington branch!Terrible experience. Go elsewhere.

Booked a viewing with Erdington branch. Got to the house at booked time/day but no one was there. Called and was told appointment was never booked and we have to wait a few days for next available slot. Only for the house to have accepted an offer during this time. Lost out on bidding for the house as a result of administration error. The person who "booked" us in was apparently a part timer who knew nothing - then why was she taking bookings?

Having bought a number of houses through them I have found the staff to be rude and snooty. They ask unnecessary questions and have no diversity in their teams - hiring in a similar mould. I would never sell a property through them and hope the new estate agents on the market disminish their market share. I also find it laughable that they post their own very positive reviews on review websites such as referenceline, which isn't open to reviews from the public. Scared of honest reviews?

Worst estate agency ever. Charge us £120 for not cleaning the garden (we handed the keys a month before the tenancy agreement ended, with grass frehsly cut, but when they did the check out month and a half later they said that the garden is not clean),anyway they kept the money but rented the property with a garden looking like a jungle.
