Hi , Signed up with Northwood almost 2 years ago now . From the initial viewing to contract signing and basic maintenance and safety checks it has been nothing but a pleasure dealing with them . The staff are very knowledgable and understanding , usually replying same day and eager to sort issues ASAP . In particular Angela in the office is outstanding and nothing is too much trouble for her and she will make sure things are sorted . If you're looking to rent , I recommend these guys , they are professional and do a great job finding people lovely places to live . Cheers , Shaun .

We purchased our house through Northwood in Sutton. Natalie was extremely helpful in dealing with a very difficult vendor given the number of issues that came up before we were able to exchange. She was also great in showing us other houses before we made our decision. She was always professional and punctual without being too pushy as most other estate agents are. We will definitely consider Northwood should we decide to sell our house in the future.

First time user of Northwoods and i am very glad we found one another. I used them to rent a property in Epsom Surrey. They made to process easy and answered all my questions. Avoid this Company at all costs. 4 times their tenants have flooded 2 flats below causing £30k + worth of damages and not once have they had the decency to apologise. The 2 affected flats have a key worker in one and an 85 year cancer patient in the other. There were 4 tenants in a one bed flat contravening tenancy rules. 2 were removed but 1 has moved back in so still contravening tenancy rules. Because they are receiving rent they have no interest in what the tenants are up to. The lady that owns the flat lives in Spain and has not made any contact either. A sham of a Company and if you are looking to let your flat, avoid these at all costs.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

I have also had a very disappointing experience with this agent. In 25 years I have experienced nothing like this company in the world of letting. Unhelpful, unresponsive and unlawful, and the branch manager Jordan should not be working there. Very unprofessional. As someone else has also reported, after a minor issue was discovered in referencing which I corrected, the situation felt really planned and underhand. They appeared to already have had another tenant lined up and are currently refusing to return a holding deposit they are legally required to return. I will be taking legal action against this company now and consulting Jordan’s manager regarding his behaviour. Do not use this letting agent. Stay away!!

Our experience during the 6-month tenancy (4 Jan - 4 July 2016) was punctuated by financial challenges but we were able to cope due to the fact that the agents mentioned especially Zulekha (the direct contact person) facilitated the process for us to fulfil our financial commitments by seeking to understand the circumstances and making reasonable adjustments to ensure that the agent-tenancy relationship in view of the agreement was not unduly compromised. Conna played his part especially in the initial stages and was professionally friendly when coming to the house for various viewings prior to us leaving the property. Northwood Sutton via Zulekha facilitated the process for us to rent the property (our current place of residence) by providing a reference. Overall, the high standards (communication, inspections, end of tenancy requirements, etc.) upheld by Northwood Sutton through the practices of the 'said' agents must be commended. As tenants for over 20 years, your professionalism is striking and our learning and development in many aspects have been enhanced in view of future growth. I have nothing but positive feedback for Northwoods. We moved into our home over a year and half ago and the whole rental process wasn’t stressful or anything it went really well. Since living here we had a few bits that needed sorting which like any home that can happen. SIMPLY HORRIFIC. I still doubt the owner is qualified in what they are doing. I never saw my landlady after three years of living at the property, but from conversation she was very rude. After leaving, it took nearly two months to receive back my deposit (which we already had issues with in the first place as they wanted to literally give us nothing back) all because they didn't forward my details to the DPS, it was all unnecessary stress that was not needed and shouldn't have been my job to chase up and call nearly every day.

Having rented for 10 years this was the worst experience I had encountered (and expensive). The fee's were unjustified and in some cases a literal joke. I had to pay for my wife to be credit checked and referenced.... neither of which happened as she did not work, but was still charged in the region of £200. I could not fault the property, just a shame it was managed by a business which had no concept of customer service and 'tells you' as opposed to works with logic and common sense. For sure the worst estate agents I have dealt with, but in the market you can't choose you agent, you choose the property, just be prepared to pay the price as these guys know how to charge a fee, as well as this if you question anything, don't expect a reasonable response, I was blown away by the aggression, complete lack of common sense and customer service by the agent managing our property.
