Hamptons, and particularly Jonty, was excellent with prospective buyers and very polite when arriving to collect keys. However, once the sale was agreed I couldn't have been more disappointed with Hamptons. I honestly felt that they were acting on behalf of the buyers rather than myself - they were pushy and difficult and there was a definite lack of communication. I reached out on numerous occasions to ask the buyers questions and there was never any response at all. It takes two minutes to send a quick email advising that the buyers hadn't responded if that was the case. There periods of inactivity which was to be expected and then suddenly it was go, go, go and the pressure was on me. I never felt supported at all and I was the one paying the fees. It was not the service I expected.

Luke, Becky, Laura and the team have been absolute stars through out the whole process - which has been long and difficult but not because of anything to do with them! From the very start Luke was professional and realistic when valuing our house. They were quick and efficient in getting it to market and the team they use for photos and floorplans were great. They took a sensible approach to pricing which got us lots of viewings and resulted in a good offer within a week. When after 2 months our buyer pulled out Becky and the team sprang into action to get us viewings and managed to get us a new buyer at a similar price so we didn't lose our onward purchase. They have worked tirelessly to make sure we completed before the stamp duty change and Laura from the sales progression side was amazing at talking to the whole chain and keeping us in the loop. Honestly can't fault them! I would highly recommend for anyone looking to sell.
