The main people involved the Wayne and Garth . What struck me straight away was their ability to way up the pros and cons of the property and come to a reasonable price . A neighbour near by said that if any one could make a sale then it would be Wayne …. and he was right ! Garth was charming and followed up the ups and downs of life up until it was time to go. Who knows what goes on at times when a property it being dealt with but they managed to keep it afloat . Thank both very well . 🙏🏼👌☺️

Garth was absolutely brilliant throughout our first time buy which was a tricky process due to solicitors not doing their jobs and ongoing delays. He was key to us completing as we got very close to the sale not going through, and built a strong relationship between us and the seller. Even when Garth was out of the office, we were always communicated with by other members of the team in a timely and most importantly, non pushy way. We have dealt with many estate agents over the course of our home hunt and met all the worst kinds - Garth & Montagues were the only estate agents we've met who were completely honest, communicated in a calm manner, and didn't treat us like idiots or tell us things to try and pull the wool over our eyes. Would not hesitate to recommend or work with them again if and when we need.

We bought a house in Epping sold through Montagues, and had an incredibly straightforward experience. Wayne, who showed us round, was refreshingly personable, knowledgeable and upfront, and was always on hand with ease of contact during the negotiation and purchasing process. Garth, who managed our purchase process, was also really easy to contact and incredibly helpful and understanding with any questions we had. Even picking up the keys from their office was a delightful experience, presented with a charming gift box, and plenty of handshakes and well-wishes. I dealt with around 5 different agents when viewing houses around Epping, and we are so glad the house we wanted was sold through Montagues, because they really were a genuine delight to buy from. Where do I begin, Not so long ago I viewed a flat In an area I dreamed of living. After many viewings in surrounding areas finding nowhere with anything worth viewing again or considering moving too I stumbled across a flat in Epping. I called up and spoke to a polite and charismatic gentleman on the phone and arranged a viewing. We were greeted on time at the flat, which other estate agents seem to struggle with, and also told about various points to do with the property. The knowledge and professionalism emitting from the estate agent was impressive and I became keen to put an offer in. Garth guided me through this process seamlessly and helped us secure a great price for both seller and myself. Whilst the sale was taking place I could call Garth and speak to him at all times of the day and he would always follow up and chase the sellers/ solicitors should he be required to. Once the sale went through I could pick the keys up where I could put a smiley face to the name and was handed a beautiful hamper with some treats, which turned out to be dinner that night after a long day painting. Finally, if you are looking for a friendly, personable yet professional and helpful estate agent then I would recommend Montagues! As I drive through Epping I see their “for sale/for let” signs dotted around everywhere so don’t take it from me, the amount of property that is sold and let through Montagues speaks for itself.
