From the moment we met Jack Spittlehouse and the team at Hammond & Smith Realtor in Epping, Essex, we knew we would be working with an understanding, experienced, friendly and hard working group of professionals. What stood out the most for my husband and I, was their style of clear timely communication. We recently sold my mums probate property through Hammond & Smith and I cant recommend these guys highly enough. It was a tricky drawn out process as the first sale fell through but the guys stuck with it and throughout the whole process kept us informed at every stage. They were proactive, responsive, informative and professional the whole time. All of the team got involved at some stage but a big shout out to Joe who was the main man and an absolute pleasure to work with. They felt more like family than just an estate agent. We couldn’t recommend Jack and Hammond & Smith more. What is usually a stressful experience, was made nothing short of seamless and stress-free. Jack was one of three agents that visited our home for a valuation and he stood out straight away for my husband and I. No waffle, honest and no unpleasant sales techniques. Throughout our journey to find our new home in Epping, we had dealt with almost every agent in the area - and from day one Jack was the complete stand out. His friendly and enthusiastic approach won us over, and rather then just opening a door, Jack would take time to get to know us, and be well equipped with detailed information about the property and overall area/market knowledge each time. Initially, we ended up finding a somewhere via a different agency (an experience I won’t comment on) although we always said now we wished we were buying from Jack instead. The stars eventually aligned as the other property didn’t work out, and we ended up finding our ideal home through Jack! His excellence and professionalism followed through in the conveyancing process, by keeping us updated and chasing things up (even outside of working hours), he was also happy to accommodate multiple more viewings, and never rushed us despite how busy his day might have been. Buying a property can be an extremely stressful experience, although having a reliable, kind and trusting agent like Jack makes the journey all the more easier.
