GoogleMaria at Duncan Phillips saved us. She is amazing! We was having so much trouble with another local estate agent trying to sell our property.
After several months of constant let downs, no updates, and total lack of communication, I decided to change agents and called Duncan Phillips and Maria answered. I could immediately tell the level of service Maria would provide would be so much better and I was not wrong! I've been through this process 3 times before and I've never had a better agent.
Within the first week Maria secured more viewings in a week than the previous agent did in several months (literally). Maria always kept us updated and before we knew it we had a good offer.
The buyer had unfortunately chosen there own solicitor which was extremely slow and needed to be constantly chased from all sides. Maria kept on top of it calling sometimes on multiple phones just to make sure she could get an update for us and push things forward.
Despite some setbacks that was at no fault of Maria's, she persisted and kept me updated every day even on her day off! A situation that usually would have been very stressful, was so much less because we knew Maria had a handle on things and got us to completion. Thank you so much Maria! Can't recommend any more!!

GoogleDuncan Philips managed a property I owned in Waltham Abbey.
During the last two years they placed a tenant into the house without references (who then wrecked it), forgot to take a deposit from the tenant and then allowed the tenant to underpay rental for a year.
So when the tenant was finally evicted I was faced with a loss of £750 deposit, a loss of £900 in rental, £1,000 in solicitors fees and £3,000 damages. All of this as part of the 'managed service' from Duncan Philips.
They are grossly incompetent and should be avoided.

We have reviewed the file on your letting whereby the tenant moved in to the property in 2010. You were made aware of additional occupants in 2013 and ultimately they were added to the Tenancy Agreement. The only other option would have been to give the original tenant Mr Pope notice to quit and we were not made aware of this being your decision at the time. The relationship between Mr Pope and his partner unfortunately went sour and she had him removed from your property. We then took the appropriate legal action for eviction which occurred in September 2016.

We completely refute your allegations which I note are on behalf of the tenant. The damages were with complete evidence which the tenant had agreed along with further outstanding rent which we have still not received despite a repayment plan agreed between parties. With regards to entering the property without permission we have no knowledge of this ever happening and have certainly not arranged anything through ourselves. I suggest you ask the tenant to make contact with us for the outstanding rent prior to any further legal action taking place.
