GoogleMy mother sold her house via Julian at James Hayward and we couldn't be more grateful to him and all of the team at James Hayward for the help provided during the experience. Whilst it was a difficult move due to poor solicitors on all sides, Julian went above and beyond to help get things moving through-out the process. He's who you want on your side during such a stressful time. I wouldn't hesistate to recommend them. And thanks again for all the help!

GoogleWhen Stirling came to value my house I felt confident that he knew the market and was honest with his valuation, and I felt comfortable with him. After that Julian took over and was excellent. He kept me informed about progress and was always helpful when I rang. Whilst being professional he was also friendly and easy to deal with. My sale was relatively straightforward but everyone at the office made me feel that nothing was too much trouble. I’m grateful for all their help and support, moving is always stressful but they made it less so.

GoogleJulian and the team recently handled the sale of my late dad's house and I can wholeheartedly recommend them. They made the process so straightforward and with complete respect and empathy in what was a difficult time for me. I was arranging everything from outside of the UK and Julian and Dee looked after everything and kept me up to date at all times and I never had to worry about a thing. Thank you so much.

GoogleWorst letting agent that I have ever dealt with! Warren is unprofessional and lies. Was promised an inventory would be done over and over again. This did not happen. He then lied and told us that "we" said the property was to old for one (it was built in the 60's!). Why would we do that when its in our best interest to have one! Needless to say the property was left in a state! Do yourself a favour and either rent with another agent, who knows what they are doing or do it yourself on Open Rent.

GoogleI have had the pleasure of dealing with Stirling Clark at James Hayward when purchasing a property. It took us a year to complete due to my house sale falling through and covid 19 putting us in lock down. Moving home is a very stressful time and estate agents and their recommended solicitors make all the difference. Stirling showed he knew his job very well and had the ability to keep the chain and sale going forward. If it wasn't for Stirling this transaction would have definitely fallen through. GoogleI and my husband were interested in a ground-floor apartment with a garden listed by James Hayward and visited the property twice. We liked it and decided to make an offer, twice. Both times, our offer matched the asking rental price. However, the agent, never even sent us an offer form to complete. Despite our repeated offers, he informed us that the landlord had accepted another offer. This left us with the strong impression that our offer was never even presented to the landlord. Based on this experience, I also believe we were subjected to discrimination.

GoogleThe worst agency that I have ever seen! I called the agent to book for a viewing and he was very aggressive and rude. A male agent was so rude with me for no reason. His attitude was very bad and rude! So disrespectful his tough attitude and answers. I always make enquires for my partner, nobody talked to me like that, like the agent at this agency talked to me. He doesn’t know how to communicate with clients , his communication 0. People that they don’t know how to communicate with clients. Very disappointed. I am happy that calls are recorded so agency can finds out what a kind of human they hire to work with! Shame on you.

GoogleI have recently sold a house though James Hayward. Julian, Stirling and them Sales team assisted by the ever helpful Dee were excellent. It's been a difficult time with the Brexit fiasco pulling the market in all directions but we got there in the end. Why 5 stars? Well a very competitive price, detailed local knowledge and a never say die attitude helped but it was the willingness to make themselves available to help whenever it was needed that finally got us over the line. Great work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Selling your home is one of the most stressful experiences - and Stirling increased the stress levels ten fold, with his complete failure to keep us updated with the progress of the sale. Promises to call us - were never kept. He told us that the exchange and completion dates were imminent and then we found out later that the buyers were actually away on holiday! As a result we were left in limbo - with furniture in storage and we were sleeping on a mattress for weeks. Communication is key - a matter I stressed to Stirling who wholeheartedly agreed - then he left us high and dry and pocketed the cash. How do they sleep at night? AVOID AT ALL COSTS Dr Tracey Clarke

GoogleI wouldn't even give 1 star but i have to... This is the most unprofessional agency i have ever had to deal with. My husband and I were at most 5-10 minutes late to a viewing due to traffic, and we had a long way to come, the agent Julian did not have the slightest courtesy to give us a call to see if we were near by knowing full well we'd confirmed the day previous and infact even confirmed on the day that we would be coming to the viewing, but instead just left. We knocked at the door for a few minutes and realised no one was there, and so rang the office and was told the agent should be there, i waited and saw a missed call and so called back immediately with no answer, i tried again and again no answer. We waited at the property for at least another 35 minutes until i called the agent again, to be told that he would not be coming back to show us the property. He claimed he waited 10 minutes, and was completely rude and disrespectful to me as a client, also i realise that Julian was lieing about the time he was there (1:55pm) because we had arrived by that time, and was at the door a few minutes before calling the office to ask if Julian is close by. If i had to guess he couldn't be bothered to even turn up at all for the last viewing of the day at that property. All in all rude, unprofessional and arrogant.
