GoogleThanks to everyone (in sales and letting) who has helped me. Due to my Father's illness and then passing I used just about all the services you offer; selling, renting and then selling! I was given excellent advice regarding how to sell the property and loads of recommendations; solicitor, house clearer and house cleaner. I do not live near and Anthony Pepe's managing of the house and showing over 40 people was invaluable. Everyone was very sensitive to the fact that my Father was ill and then died and that it was a much loved family home. Communication was key and I was kept well informed throughout. You have all been wonderful, very professional and extremely reliable.

We initially met Mark Sivell who valued our property and he gave us some great advice on how to market it. Dealing with Mark was pretty easy and he found us a buyer and negotiated the sale within 11 days.
Our file was then passed over to Maria. Mark was very, very, good but Maria Zorlakkis is an absolute superstar! Her communication was second to none, she replied and forwarded emails promptly, often after hours, answered our queries promptly and she couldn't have done any more.
We've now moved out of the area but if were ever in Anthony Pepe's catchment area in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We had had a sale fall through with another estate agent and had already offered on our next place so found ourselves in a very tough position of having to possibly walk away from the house we really wanted to buy. Gavyn and team got me another offer within three days. We did price the house lower than we’d hoped but with interest rates not moving easily, we knew that if we weren’t very competitive we might be waiting a while and we just wanted to move forward. Truly awful and unethical. I had to deal with Jessica Williams on email who was really rude and unprofessional to me, I tried to find a tenancy replacement and they would not accept them. I found 3 suitable tenants who they would not accept on minor technicalities.They had absolutely no regard for the fact that I was a key NHS worker who couldn't maintain the house share, on top of this Jessica was really rude, blunt and unpleasant over email. She even tried to tell me that I would still have to pay even after my one year contract ended if I could not find a replacement.Professional scam artists, please avoid them. Many thanks for your review. We have looked into this and it seems you have not had any direct correspondence with the Head of Property Management Stephanie Stavrou since February 2020 (11/02/20) which is when you first moved in to the property. Stephanie is not the property manager for the Harringay portfolio. I also note from our records that you requested to vacate the property mid tenancy. You were advised that you could be released from the tenancy following the landlords approval and once a new tenant had been found and passed referencing. All tenants were all joint and severally liable for the tenancy (it was not a room by room let) which means that you were still responsible for the property until you are released.You supplied us with three potential applicants, none of which were suitable for the property in terms of employment/affordability.We are also aware that the property had various tenant changes throughout the years-all of which the Landlord agreed to subject to a suitable replacement. In this case all three people were not suitable. We dispute your claims that Anthony Pepe have acted unethically. We act on behalf of the landlord whilst having a duty of are to all of our tenants. I then made contact with Loui Panayiotou from Anthony Pepe & my flat was rented 2 weeks later with excellent tenants! And their letting fees are very reasonable too! GoogleInitially, Anthony Pepe came round for a valuation and said all the right things on how my property would be marketed and the steps they'd take to ensure we got the best price for our house.
We agreed on a commission rate and we went on the market. Initially we were satisfied we had done the right thing. The open day had over 10 viewers and as a result we had two offers. We were painted a particular picture that one of the people making the offer was chain free, mortgage agreed, large deposit and a single parent. It turned out after several weeks that in fact I was involved in a chain, the mortgage wasn't approved and and the position of the potential buyer was nowhere near what had been explained to us, in fact in reality it was the complete opposite. We risked losing out on the property we had put an offer down on and had fallen in love with because of the negligence and dishonesty from Palmers Green branch.
I raised my concerns on a number of occasions with various staff members, but this was ignored.
We eventually found our own buyer, arranged the viewing outself and negotiated the sale. To cut a long story short, I raised my concerns with Anthony Pepe and all my points were completely disregarded by the area manager taking no responsibility for the poor service and handling of my transaction from start to finish.
I should mention that Ari, once he took over my file, was very helpful and proactive. I don't want to mention the other people's names who dealt and spoke with me in a very unprofessional manner, but there was no way that Anthony Pepe earned the fee they charged and we definitely didn't get a service worthy of it.
1* and that's only because Ari was great thereafter, otherwise it would have been a very easy 0/5. My advice, don't go with the Palmers Green branch.
**UPDATE**
Shortly after posting this review and completing on our property purchase, I received an email from the director of AP requesting I remove this poor review. Again, no responsibility taken and no acknowledgement of the poor service and negligence made by AP. My response was unless AP were going to issue me with a refund, I kindly requested that they did not contact me again. It's safe to say it has been over 2 months since I last heard from them.
My experience with AP in Palmers Green was absolutely dreadful. Please shop around
