GoogleMichelle and Elaine and the VMH team were an invaluable help in our search for a flat in Edinburgh, as overseas buyers. They gave us a real understanding of the process and turned around an offer for us within hours of us making a design, always cognizant of our limited time frame in the city. The ‘missives’ process went effortlessly and they were effective in completing the process on schedule without any problems.

GoogleThis was my first time purchasing a house in Scotland, and VMH were fantastic. They were very helpful on explaining the differences between Scotland and England/Wales - both legal and general buyer/seller expectations. Stacey and Nicky were both very efficient and responsive, and did a great job at keeping me informed every step of the way. I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

GoogleHorrendous experience. Picking up keys for new house. Waited nearly 4 hours. Not good
It is unfortunate you have provided this negative review. You are aware, and indeed your own solicitor will confirm, that the funds required to allow us to release keys were received at 3pm. The delay was not caused by VMH.

The communication and support I have received from Leanne, Connor, Michelle & team has been excellent to gain a sale of a unusual property in Fife whilst I am based hundreds of miles away. GoogleVery grateful to Stewart for his hard work & commitment on making a few offers until we got the right place; ensuring a smooth purchase experience; and following up with the vendor when we encountered a problem in the new property to ensure that the costs to fix it were recovered. Thanks Stewart! This is our second experience of VMH and would happily use them again. Good value in the Edinburgh market, thorough and they treat customers decently.

GoogleGot the job done, but we had just about lost confidence in VMH by the time the transaction went through. Emails were not helpful or proactive, and there were several admin mistakes. Overall we (first time buyers) felt the company took us for granted because we had a secure purchase lined up, and didn't bother to provide any guidance in plain English.

GoogleExcellent legal support for our house purchase, with good communication throughout. We went with VMH on two friends' recommendations, and are happy to pass on that recommendation to others.
