We have been renting a flat in the New Town for five years. Rettie has been consistently attentive to any small fixes that need to be addressed and more importantly are proactive in ensuring that the flat has the necessary safety checks in place. Any communication is handled in a timely manner and we have never been let down in regard to appliance maintenance/replacement. Iwona Wolinska has been our main contact since we first viewed the flat and we appreciate her professionalism and more importantly her friendliness.

I have been using Rettie for 2+ years to rent out a property that I own in Leith. I decided to use Rettie as I had had a very good experience with them as a tenant around 10 years ago, so felt my property would be in safe hands. I dealt with Rob Trotter initially in this process and was really impressed by his knowledge and attitude. Rettie's has managed letting out our flat in the past and after our son moved out and the sale fell through we handed it over to Rettie's to manage letting it for us again. Christine and Sarah are very professional and always responsive. Sarah found tenants for us in a very short spell of time and managed everything for us like viewings, safety tests and moving in. When our son moved in a few years ago and we took the keys back our flat was spick and span and everything was in working order. I would always recommend Sarah and the team at Jamaica Street for their highly professional approach. They are also always quick in dealing with repairs.

I have been with Rettie for just over 2 years now and the experience had been very positive throughout. My agent Sarah Dimelow has been fantastic really and is very responsive and attentive in any communication with any matters should they arise and equally as are Rettie with myself. I feel on the whole, even from the beginning, Rettie just do things better than other agencies and are certainly more forward thinking and straightforward in their process and really do value their clients. Principally, we had to deal with too many staff members, which led to poor communication, duplication of effort and some decisions falling through the cracks.
