Was contracted as a conveyancer with the seller's lease wrongly worded, did not defend the interest of their client but rushed to close the deal. Pay more attention on the comments under one star.

Very poor conveyancing service

Very poor conveyancing service. Took 4 months to do a cash buy, provided very limited advice or guidance through the process. I had to constantly chase them to progress the transaction and push them for a completion date. Worst of all, whilst they said from the outset that they were not the cheapest, twice they raised their prices and there was nothing I could do due to their control. Not recommend this firm. Read two other reviews and they faced the same promblem on raised prices. Refused to do as I asked about keeping my details digitally, to save time, effort and future cost.

I had a fall in Edinburgh and spent a week in hospital with a broken hip. I got in touch with Lindsey's to put a claim in against the council, as I live in co durham England I was glad I got solicitor in Scotland. My solicitor was called Sarah Jane skellett she got everything done in no time and got me a great settlement that I didn't expect. Couldn't fault them at all. I would recommend them to anyone .

Have to agree with the last review

Have to agree with the last review. They just want money and couldn't care less. Absolutely useless did nothing and I was passed to a different solicitor every time I had an email. Four different people in four months for £1400.Then they held my property deeds to ransom and said they would send them when they received payment. I paid the first bill on the same day I received it so there was no need for this.

Inefficient and hopelessly expensive. Making money for themselves, not their clients. Moral vacuums.

Don't sell Auchinleck/ 20 stanley Road!!! A historical women's coop stablished in 1980s is up for sell... This will destroy the oportunity for others to live in there for a fair rent, and to also create a positive impact within the community. All neighbours are against this! You are helping demolish the work of around 200 women that lived there and helped to build that community. Stop this sell!!!

I called them to hire a solicitor, they took my details and said they would call me back. I was waiting for their call but it never happened and by the time I managed to get another solicitor (different company) the property I wanted to put an offer on was under offer. I don't recomend this companyNegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Stay away at all costs!

14 months of pain and lack of information. My late mothers estate couldn’t have been simpler wrap up. Not so for Lindsay’s of course, due to no communication, shocking estate agency understanding of markets. Department managers with limited or no knowledge of their teams workloads either. Oh and extremely expensive.

Appalled by this agent's incompetence

Appalled by this agent's incompetence. Despite their promises, my flat remained unsold. I navigated through five different contacts, endured minimal effort resulting in just one viewing. Shockingly, they demanded payment. Avoid this agent.

We used Lindsays solicitors to submit a number of offers in properties and were very happy with their service. Staff were very friendly and helpful, from the reception staff to the solicitors themselves. No complaints.

They just want money

They just want money, bills galore and little effort. If you don't pay it goes up like a pay day loan more and more and more and they do not respond to complaints - they are all deaf I think.Be warned, they aren't much good, they are expensive and they are relentless in chasing you for moneyBe warned......

If you like fees that come up out of nowhere even when you previously asked them to list all fees involved these are the guys for you. £336 for literally nothing.

Avoid

Absolutely shocking. Emma Conway cannot see the difference in currencies, doesn’t keep any communication with customer and when you try to reach her she is not approachable. Avoid her service. I left extremely distressed and homeless..

Pretty sure a law firm that employs people who brags online about pretty much traumatizing their child, referring to a certain Dawn Anderson, is a "not professional" thing, correct?NegativeProfessionalism
