I would recommend Lindsay’s after they dealt with the selling of our house. Communication was excellent and everything was clearly explained to us. Our case was a little complicated but nothing was too much trouble and Emma’s patience is to be commended. Would definitely use again.

GoogleThe quality of the work was excellent in the preparation of Wills for me and my wife. A little frustration at times trying to contact Nicole Noble, but this most likely tells us that the very good people are the very busy people and one has to accept being one of many live clients!

GoogleWe sold to a buyer being represented by Lindsays. Our buyer concluded missives months ago. We felt reassured that a reputable firm were acting for him and assumed they would have checked to make sure their clients had enough funds to fullfill his contractual obligations and complete the sale. Unfortunately that was a misplaced sense of reassurance since their client did not in fact have the money, nor anywhere close to the amount of money, required to complete the sale. This has left a chain of enormous losses and 3 families in a state of limbo the month before Christmas. I would never accept another buyer who has anything to do with this law firm in future.

If I could give zero I would this guy let me get disqualified from driving after I’d already been done for the same driving offence he failed to mention to the court I’d had my licence revoked for the exact same offence basically double jeopardy rule and I’m now trying to get it all sorted out not a good thing about them the receptionist is rude and abrupt too

GoogleI live in the states. I worked with Nicole Noble and Patricia Adams, both of whom handled my late Aunt’s case with dignity. I appreciated the effort of Ms.Adams in sending me per my request, documents at a certain time of the month which was paramount in my situation. I highly recommend this agency.

Feb 2024.Along the lines of similar reviews. Poor communication. General feeling they’re not actually doing anything to earn the money. Unable to easily contact the person who is dealing with our transactions. Mother’s estate, the easiest to wrap up still waiting after many months. Solictors letter to a company who had incorrect information on us, cost an arm and a leg. I have used Shield and Kyd since 1993 before they merged into Lindsay’s and they were great. Once our current transaction is completed, We will not be using Lindsays for anything.Update. August 2024. Still waiting for completion of mothers estate. This has been nearly a year. Problems…. ineptitude, people forgetting to do things and process paperwork, maternity leave. Handovers not completed properly. Holidays. Lost track of who is now dealing with this transaction. An absolute nightmare.

Then the service provided by Reena, our point of contact, and the rest of the team including Una, Gemma, Roberta, Alison and Heather who kept us up to date on viewings, feedback and developments. My wishes were translated into an official document with little need for any amendments. Communication was excellent and the whole process was completed in very short time.

GoogleIncompetent solicitor firm. AML checks carried out on a buyer 6 days before a 4 party chain was due to complete. The buyer failed the checks, leaving mine and 3 other families in a difficult situation. It’s ridiculous that these checks were carried out so late in the transaction and my own solicitor confirmed that it categorically should not happen. I would never use Lindsay’s and I wouldn’t accept a buyer who is using Lindsay’s, after this experience.

GoogleShocking experience, was quoted £1000 to £1500 for a simple divorce and after only 2 weeks the lawyer passed it to her intern as if she couldn't be bothered with us, I paid the £1500 plus another £100 and to my horror I received another invoice for over £2700 once my divorce was through after being quoted £1500 for my full divorce process minus a couple hundred pounds here or there if additional paperwork was needed, these charges are obscene, stay away from this company as bills appear and are fabricated from nowhere, I'm now having to goto court to fight this, but no matter what happens I will not pay it I wil go bankrupt before I do, I have nothing to loose

Absolutely horrendous experience with this lot if I could give no stars I would, was quoted between £1000 and £1500 for a simple divorce got the impression the first lawyer (Alison mckee) couldn't be arsed I paid the £1500 that I was quoted and she switched it to her graduate (Claire brown) then at the end of it I was hit with another invoice for £2736 so they basically want me to pay for the same thing twice, they are con artists and like the other reviews on here seems to be a pattern they invent bills out of nowhere, the lawyer couldn't be bothered passed it to a intern and cracked up my bill while she overlooked my case from time to time, absolutely shocking company, I refuse to pay and I'm now having to goto court over this
