We find Glenham Property to be consistently outstanding in the services they provide to us as landlords. From Director level to frontline staff, all of the team are friendly, knowledgable and highly professional. A particular feature is that the team work very well together and are small enough to offer personal service, but large enough to cover all aspects of property purchase and market expertise, property upgrading and everyday management. Our property managers provide prompt attention to tenant issues, keeping us informed of progress on repairs and maintenance. Miles, Amanda, Charlie and the team always make us feel special and valued; they are a pleasure to do business with and we have no hesitation in recommending them for this award. Charlie Inness has recently been carrying out the annual rent review for our properties. Charlie has handled the process with his customary expertise, which reflects his expertise in all aspects of the Edinburgh property market. We are always pleased to note that Charlie is sensitive to the needs of our tenants.

Updating this review to add that I recently needed roof repairs carried out and Stephanie went above and beyond to ensure that all the owners in the block of flats agreed and paid for the works, an excellent job again. Glenham have looked after two properties for me for some time now and I am extremely happy with the service. The team are first class and do exactly as you request them to and promptly, so refreshing when you are busy. The company is wholly transparent in everything they do, charge fair rates for any repairs and maintenance and collect and transfer rents promptly. Invoices are clear and I was over the moon to receive a comprehensive annual summary of income and expenditure for my personal tax return. I handed Glenham my properties to alleviate the demands on my time (and the stress) and they have delivered for me; I can't speak highly enough of them.

I've used Glenham for around 9 months now and when I first started my search for a letting agent I decided to locate 2 reputable firms with the right professional body affiliations. Both agents I met with were very impressive but I was swayed towards the hands on role I could expect from Miles and his team despite the other company offering marginally better terms. My initial tenants hunt turned out to be a hugely protracted affair and incredibly time consuming for the Glenham team. This as I see it was the true test of service when this level of extra help and suport is required which I have to say Glenham came trhough with flying colours reinforcing my original choice. Glenhams were my letting agents for more than 10 years. In that time, my flat was always rented out, and any issues were dealt with promptly and professionally. When I decided it was time to sell, I used Glenhams for the whole process. The letting team, led by Andrew, were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. As I live on the other side of the world, I relied on them to sort everything out, I can't thank Andrew enough for his help liaising with the tenant and trades to get the flat sorted for sale, nothing was too much trouble and he continued to assist and answer questions after it was no longer being rented. When it came to selling, Alexander was extremely helpful and honest. Again, going above and beyond and keeping me informed throughout what was a fairly stressful situation. It wasn't without its problems but Alexander worked hard to get the sale over the line with a fair price, quickly, which I was very grateful for. I cannot recommend Glenhams enough whether you are renting or selling!

I rented a property from Glenham for about a year and a half. During the tenancy, things were generally fine. The inventory checks (done by a third party) weren’t fully accurate, and I needed to provide my own move-in and move-out photos to clarify some discrepancies and have some unnecessary charges removed. The deposit refund process also required multiple follow-ups and calls, as communication and timelines weren’t very clear. Overall, my experience while renting was okay, but the move-out and deposit stage could have been handled more smoothly.

Having to flat hunt again after being with Glenham 3 years ago made me realize how good they were. If you OK a property after viewing it they ask for a holding deposit while they reference check, giving you the peace of mind that providing everything pans out, you got it. If it doesn’t you just get your money back. Others keep advertising and showing and you may get the property snatched from you by a quicker or better applicant but this way you actually have a fair chance. If they had anything that suited me I’d go back to them in a blink.

I have rented flats from four different letting agencies in Scotland over the past seven years, and I have never experienced service like Glenham's before. From the viewing and application process to handling the documents and moving in, everything was smooth and professional. What I value most is when people are normal, warm and genuinely approachable, and everyone I have interacted with at Glenham, especially in person, has been exactly that and so much more. Most importantly, the contact throughout my tenancy has been outstanding. Anything I report is handled very quickly, and inspection visits feel like a pleasure rather than a formal, nosy requirement. They genuinely want the tenant to have the best conditions possible. They listen to you, which matters a lot. I have had agencies where you reported something during inspections, but nothing was ever done about it. Here, they truly care. If I ever need to look for another flat, I will go straight to Glenham's website because I genuinely would not want to change to any other agency.
