Disappointing Experience with Drummond Miller Legal Services I booked a one-hour consultation with Lindsay, a member of the firm's legal team, expecting an in-depth discussion of the legal strategies, possible approaches, and arguments that could be used to address the Home Office's refusal grounds in my Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) application. Unfortunately, the consultation fell significantly short of my expectations. Much of the hour was spent collecting basic information about me and my family members, including names, dates of birth, and educational backgrounds, despite my having provided this information before the meeting. I had expected the consultation to focus on analysing the refusal grounds and discussing a clear, practical legal strategy for addressing them. During our dealings with Lindsay, she explained to my wife that she was not a solicitor and that she would discuss our case with a specialist solicitor. Furthermore, when I booked the appointment, I was told that I would receive a formal document setting out the legal advice and assessing the merits of my case after the consultation. Unfortunately, despite this expectation being communicated at the booking stage, I never received the promised document. Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of substantive legal analysis, meaningful discussion of possible legal approaches, and follow-up after the consultation. I felt that the meeting did not provide the level of professional guidance and value I had expected, particularly given the complexity and importance of my immigration matter. I do not wish to generalise my experience to the entire firm, as I can only speak about the service I personally received. However, my experience left me seriously dissatisfied with the preparation, quality of the consultation, communication, and follow-up. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this service to anyone seeking detailed and reliable legal guidance on a complex immigration matter. I hope the firm takes this feedback seriously and improves its consultation and follow-up procedures for future clients.

GoogleAwful, simply awful! The valuation agent arrived a week early for viewing and insisted we had it wrong despite using their automated valuation request tool for a later date. There was no substantive material apology and found the tone of the firm so rude despite what was a really basic error on their part. A manager called me during a busy day despite my previous insistance I did not have the time to discuss the mistake further. Rather I had simply reaffirmed the orginal appointment was confirmed and expected a mark improvement in their performance. That "Head of Estate Agency" unilaterally then cancelled the appointment- "As a business we can choose who we work for and it is not an obligation of ours to act on behalf of anyone..." In sum, Edinburgh, and Central Scotland generally, have numerous of conveyancing; and property marketing providers. All are regulated and would strongly encourage anyone to use an alternative provider rather than Drummond Miller.

From the start to finish Liesa laid out how we would proceed with this case, she spoke each member of my family involved in the claim, Took statements from everyone of us, she chased down medical files, and organised expert reports to make sure we were on solid ground and regularly kept us informed by email on how the case was progressing.
