GoogleI returned to Blair Cadell after using their estate agency around two decades ago and having a distant memory that I was happy with their services. Robin may have recently retired, but it didn't matter and I'm glad I trusted my gut. Efficient and friendly, and with other badly timed life stuff stressing me out, they helped alleviate any worries I had and explained processes and legalities when asked. Third party services were also efficient and professional, and property sold within the first week of viewing. Related pic, reflective of how peaceful I felt about it all late one evening. I would recommend Blair Cadell all day long.

GoogleI tried to sell my house via Blair Caddell some time ago, and having secured a sale within a week or so, the buyer subsequently tried to reduce the price. The second time the buyer did this for no substantive reason (other than the fact he couldn`t afford our house) we instructed Blair Cadell to put our house back on the market. Blair Cadell refused to do so, and informed us if we wished to put our house back on the market we had to go to another estate agent. When we went to another estate agent Blair Cadell refused to release the title deeds until we had paid them fees in full for the sale of our property, even although the sale had fallen through due to the buyer having refused to sign the title deeds until we agreed to reduce the selling price! Since we were anxious to get out house back on the market we had no choice but to pay Blair Cadell the full fees for advertising and selling our house (despite the fact the sale had fallen through), since they refused to send the title deeds on to our new solicitors until we paid the fees. Perplexed as to why Blair Cadell seemed to be acting on behalf of the buyer instead of ourselves (their clients) we later discovered that the buyer was also a solicitor!! We sold our house via our new estate agents/ solicitor (who by contrast to Blair Cadell had impeccable professional standards) in a short period of time. Ironically, the people who bought our house told us they had lost the first house they had put an offer in for due to their then solicitor/ estate agent being totally incompetent. Guess who thier solicitor/ estate agent had been........Blair Cadell! If you want to sell or purchase a house successfully, don`t touch this estate agent/ solicitors, since they are an incompetent bunch of scoundrels, and that is being extremely kind!

On both accounts everything went very smoothly, and all people involved delivered a great service. I would highly recommend Blair Cadell if you're thinking about buying or selling your property.

GoogleVery poor service. Phoned to book a viewing and got a phone back the next again with a date that didn't suit me, them got told she had to double check with the owner for another viewing. Didn't get a phone back so phoned up my self next again day just to be told the could not be viewed anymore as it had came to an end date also got told that they had tried to phone me and left a voicemail. Checked phone and voicemail but nothing there. Very poor serviceNegativeProfessionalism
