Above and beyond service!

This is the second time we have used Allied Surveyors and the Service once again has been amazing. Keith went above and beyond working very late to get our draft copy to us that same night. Simon Breeze of Allied Surveyors…EPC

Simon Breeze of Allied Surveyors Scotland Plc, out of their Haddingon branch, came and undertook an EPC assessment which was required for a solar PV installation for Scottish Government funding. Simon arrived on time on teh day of the appointment, was very courteous, very helpful and very knowledegable. Simon completed the assessment within a half an hour or so and the resulting EPC was issued within 24 hours.Simon was asked to undertake a post installation EPC review and produce a further certificate which he did within 24 hours of being contacted.We found the whole experience very efficient, great value for money, very friendly and a pleasure. We would have no hesitataion in recommending Simon Breeze and Allied Surveyors for future silimar work. Thanks very much

I have family connections with a 1903 family home which I lived in for 25 years. Simon Breeze cut through my romantic perspective of my home and focused on the key part of the visit. Which was to look at what needs to be done before I put the house on the market. Much of this is not black and white and judgement is required on what work I carry out versus what I will get back in enhanced sales price. Simon has made it clear what I need to do in terms of priority work to achieve this. I am delighted with the service that Simon provided.

Incompetent house valuation

Do not use this Company !We requested a house valuation by this company.A Director called Ellie Henderson was sent out to value the property, she never visited the property even though the house was almost complete and valued the property at £45,000 less than the asking price of £385,000. A complaint was made through their complaints procedure and the company never got back to us with an apology.A second Company, Shepherd's of Galashiels and selling agents, Retties of Edinburgh both valued the property at £385,000.My advice is avoid Allied Surveyors Scotland, particularly Ellie Henderson a Director in their Selkirk office, This woman needs retraining and the Company needs investigating.Because of her incompetence, we lost our sale in England and had to put the house on the market again but were then caught in Covid Lockdown and were unable to move.In total we lost over £13000 because of this woman's incompetence !!

Very poor service from these surveyorsI did complain. I’ve always used you for my surveys and always been very happy but the last occasion was dreadful, the floor plan was completely wrong, the surveyor got the construction wrong. It had to be completely withdrawn. Now you won’t touch my properties.I’m sorry but your reply is a lie, you were recently asked to carry out a survey and your response was to refuse on the basis you had carried out a survey for me previously and didn’t want to do any work for me again. I have your response in writing from my mortgage broker
