Diabolical service - Stockton/Middlesbrough

We requested an early tenancy termination with 6 months notice (to leave 2 months earlier than contracted due to buying a new build property). We have lived in the property for 7.5 years and never caused an issue. We are now less than 3 weeks away from moving and NOTHING has been done. Delays on responses from the agents for over 4-5 weeks at a time despite being chased, the house is still not up for relet online yet they are expecting us to be liable for all costs until another tenant occupies the property. The service has been nothing but abysmal. My garden is currently a hazard to both mine and my neighbours children due to a falling down fence in the garden which was reported over 4 MONTHS AGO!!! Again chased numerous times but nothing has been done. An ignition hob that hasn’t worked in the whole 7 years we’ve been here, damp in the bathroom for over a year yet the rent still went up last year given all these outstanding issues. Avoid renting from Reeds at all costs.

FOR THE ATTENTION OF REEDS RAINS - CUSTOMER SERVICE.First of all you that is Reeds Rains have cross wired two different days on seeing two different houses that Reeds Rains were selling.One house was being sold by your Prescot Reeds Rains estate agent on the Saturday the 18th of March, and the other house being sold by your West Derby Reeds Rains estate agent on the Tuesday the 28th of March 2023.It does not matter if you see a house on a weekday or weekend, your Prescot estate agent took over a week to get back with us with an answer on if or our offer for the house was accepted or not.Phoning Mr. Anderson at work when he can not take any phone calls while on duty was unprofessional.We already knew about the 3 weeks delay on seeing the house, the fact was your estate agent of Prescot - Reeds Rains, did not keep us informed on that, and we had to keep phoning on when the day of viewing was going to be? That was unprofessional of your Prescot office.It does not matter what the vendor was after, as your estate agent of Prescot - Reeds Rains, did not pass any of the vital information onto the customer either, as we know, as we asked ourselves!Then your West Derby Reeds Rains office, could not even make sure they had not lost the keys for the house, on the day the surveyor was coming to do the survey for the house? Our description of the house in Prescot , was true to the finest detail, it does not matter that this was reflected in the price!!We have not any intention of speaking with any of your managers from any of your estate agents from Prescot - Merseyside, or your West Derby - Merseyside estate agents of Reeds Rains.We notice that you completely avoid from owning up to the fact that your West Derby office lost the house keys on the day the survey was due to be done from the surveyor!! This action from your West Derby office was unprofessional by far.We will repeat Trustpilot is here so members of the public, can write down their experiences from businesses and explain to members of the public what experiences they have had. From that members of the public, will make their own decision on if they want to use a business or not?Reeds Rains, customer service does not exist.We have told the truth and have not lied.We have got other things to do, and we are not going to keep on replying to the unprofessional replies that we are getting from Reeds Rains.We do not intend to speak with anyone from Reeds Rains, at any time in our lifetime. As we do not intend to use any of your Reeds Rains estate agents in the whole of the United Kingdom.We are not going to keep on arguing on what happened to us either, by email, phone, or via Trustpilot either!!We have nothing further to say to Reeds Rains.You failed a set of customers, and failed to produce a house that we could purchase, and Reeds Rains failed to treat us as proper customers.As we said before, Reeds Rains do not take months to come back to the customer to ask what was wrong, when you had good opportunity to do so from March, April and May of 2023?What Reeds Rains, does not understand we are still annoyed and we are not amused by Reeds Rains at all.There are other estate agents in England, other than Reeds Rains, and believe me we have used them instead, and we have got a far better customer service and professional behaviour from another estate agent instead.!!It is not Reeds Rains either.All through your Reeds Rains replies via Trustpilot today the 31st of May 2023, you kept addressing us as "You Guys", well lets discuss that shall we? First of all it is rude to not address someone by their name?How would you like to be called "Office mate that can not get anything right"!!- It shows that the person from Reeds Rains, who is replying to our messages has not been office trained at all, and not supervised on what to write to a customer via Trustpilot, where thousands of people will be reading your reply; on how unprofessional your Reeds Rains member of staff are when replying to a write up on Trustpilot?So please Reeds Rains, go and make a mess of some other customers purchase of their house, and for once and for all accept that you failed as an estate agent.We will not keep on replying to the unprofessional messages either.Before anyone types any messages our name is not Andrew either.

The staff at Reeds Rains Ormeau Road made selling my house an easy process Ryan who was the estate agent whom I was dealing with was my main point of contact and was always very friendly, approachable, pleasant to deal with and knowledgeable as was Grainne the main negotiator who gave me good advice when required who I dealt with over phone and kept me constantly updated throughout the transition of selling the property which was sale agreed within a matter of weeks. Everything! I have used a few estate agents over the years and I would say, these are by far the best I have dealt with. The staff are very professional, approachable and very quick to reply to queries. David is an asset to the company, nothing is to much trouble, he is a very hard worker and yet still remains pleasant and approachable. I am a bit of a forgetful fruitcake, but they have managed to keep me on track and everything is going great. The girls I have spoken to have all been lovely. If I were to sell my house again ( which I am never going to) I would use Reeds Rains with no hesitations.

Really awful company to deal with

Really awful company to deal with. They lie many times and avoid responsibility for their incompetence, Integrity is missing in bucketloads but greed is a paramount behaviour. Why this company is allowed to operate as a tenancy management company with utter contempt toward the customer is beyond me. Hard faced liars. Not a thread of sincerity. Absolutely stressful to deal with and will never go back.

Couldn’t of asked for anyone better then Abbie and Lorraine at Rotherham office from start to finish I have been in touch with them maybe every day in a week to get a update I completed my transfer over to one of their properties in a week From meeting Abbie on last Saturday at the property to look around I had a gut feeling I found my new home I told her my house was up for sale and didn’t want to pay other months rent and her and Lorraine made sure I didn’t have to by making sure I had my keys today (following Saturday)Would highly recommend this company

Reeds Rain Blackpool - poor Customer Service and Liars

Reeds Rains Blackpool provide a shocking service to tenants/potential tenants. I viewed a property on Saturday and emailed after the viewing to say I was interested but needed the remnants of the previous tenant removing (including dirty pillows and shower gel) and some electrical things checking to confirm they all were in satisfactory working order. I expected at least an email to thank me for my interest but nothing so I called and left a message for the negotiator to call me back. No return call so I called again and was told by the other lettings person that the landlord had rejected my interest with no explanation available. The negotiator, Hannah, had left at this point. I left a message for her to call the following day and still no contact. I rang two more times and finally got to speak to her but she though being told no was satisfactory with no explanation. I said she was meant to negotiate with me and the landlord as without a tenant there is no let. I agreed to store the tat in the cellar and asked her to go back to the landlord. We then got cut off and I rang back and her colleague refused to transfer the call! I advised the Hannah was taking my details (again) and was going to speak to the landlord. She then put me on hold without warning and then came back to say that half an hour ago, the landlord had called to say that their friend was taking on the house. I left it here, but my partner called up today to show interest int he property and was told it was still available! So not only is the customer service atrocious, they are liars too! Avoid at all costs.

This is not okay

This is not okay. Along with the horrendous service I got with moving in, the staff at Reeds Rains Liverpool were meant to organise a maintenance and clean for after I moved in. Last week, I received a text from the contractor and I asked if they could come on Friday. On Friday, nobody came. When I called them, they sent me to voicemail. When I reached out on Monday to ask what happened, the contractor explained that they were unwell. No bother, I asked them to come on Wednesday. After some texts and emails, I received no confirmation that they would be at my flat on Wednesday. In none of those correspondence did the contractor once say “Yes, I’ll be with you on Wednesday morning,”. Today, Wednesday morning, I woke up to missed calls and texts asking where I was. How was I meant to know they would come to me on Wednesday when they didn’t even confirm that at all? When I called the contractor, her attitude was horrible. She said, “Do you want to keep going over the fact that there’s been a communication breakdown or do you want to get a cleaning booked?” before also saying that Reeds Rains only told her about two repairs that needed to be done. This contrasts the higher number of repairs that needed to be done in the property report, one of which was my bathroom sink plunger not working so now my sink is a Petri dish and has been since the weekend. I called up Reeds Rains and spoke with Oliver who said, “We can either find a new contractor or you’re going to have to grin and bear it with these ones,”. I had asked to be called back yesterday by Reeds Rains and I wasn’t. I have asked to be called back today and, as of 3:30pm, I haven’t been. Overall, horrible service from a supposed “full service property management” company and its contractors.

We have had the most wonderful, friendly, whilst professional support from Louise Hall, from our initial chat some weeks ago, when we were just enquiring about the area etc, to her securing our new home there yesterday.
