Absolutely amazing service from the whole team but especially Scarlett Lawson,. It was my first time selling and buying on my own and I had no real idea where to start but her support from beginning to end was 100%. I could not have gone through this without her., and the whole process from offers made to the actual move was around 10 weeks, i also used their in house solicitors, very streamlined and I was very pleased and happy with the service and support that i received., but I am still never moving again 🤣

My experience with Burchell Edwards'… Appalling and unprofessional

My experience with Burchell Edwards' fully managed service has been nothing short of appalling. What should have been a straightforward property management service became a constant cycle of mistakes, poor communication and repeated incompetence that consumed countless hours of my time. During their management of my property, Jennifer Owen was repeatedly required to step in and correct errors made by other members of staff. Rather than proactively managing my property, I found myself constantly chasing updates, correcting mistakes and dealing with issues that should never have arisen from a professional letting agent. The volume of service failures ultimately forced me to submit a formal complaint, making it clear that I had completely lost confidence in Burchell Edwards' ability to manage my property. Even then, the complaints process was equally disappointing. Responses from Connells Customer Services demonstrated a failure to properly read or understand the issues I had raised, forcing me to repeat myself time and time again. Throughout my experience I encountered: - Persistent communication failures. - Repeated administrative errors and a clear lack of attention to detail. - Failure to act on information already held on file. - Costly mistakes caused by poor internal processes. - Broken promises and repeated apologies with little meaningful improvement. - Inconsistent and misleading communication. - Failure to uphold contractual obligations, including Section 12 of the management agreement. - A complaints process that appeared more focused on defending failures than resolving them. Most concerning of all, Burchell Edwards are currently retaining more than £3,000 belonging to my tenant, which has still not been returned despite requests. Holding a tenant's money without resolving the matter promptly is, in my view, completely unacceptable and only reinforces my concerns about how client funds and responsibilities are handled. After this experience, I have no confidence in Burchell Edwards' ability to provide a competent or professional property management service. There are many letting agents who value communication, accountability and their clients' interests. Unfortunately, based on my experience, Burchell Edwards are not one of them, and I would strongly advise landlords to think very carefully before trusting them with their property.

Thanks to Ella our family finally found a place that we can call home! We came across multiple properties over the past two months but either the state of them was unacceptable or the agencies that took our applications, let us wait over a week and gave the reply that landlord picked someone else. After many weeks of disappointment, we came across property managed by Burchell Edwards in Eastwood. Ella presented the property to us very promptly, we were happy with it and she made a phonecall to the landlord soon after our viewing, which meant that we could apply, pay deposit and go through the process extremely quickly. I've been a remote landlord of a property in Langley Mill for several years and had two really bad tenancy experiences with a different National Property Management and Lettings company. Thankfully about 18 months ago I switched to Burchell Edwards and found the difference to be night and day. I initially dealt with Holly and now with Bryani and Ella who have all been first class in everything they do. From finding the right tenant to managing check in, inventory, maintenance, rent collection and checkout they are all brilliant at what they do.
