I recently had a valuation carried out by Steve Mather, from previous experience I wasent full of confidence with Connells however Steve did a superb job , he hit the nail on the head with the valuation and the rent figures and it was exactly what was put forward, I wish more surveyors where like Steve. I hope he gets this feedback and I hope I get him again on future projects. 10/10

This is the worse most unprofessional low class company I’ve had the misfortune to deal with in 50 years. They will do absolutely anything to wriggle and negate any responsibility when things go wrong, which they will I assure you.. do yourself a favour and steer well clear . They don’t deserve one star, the higher up the chain you go the more incompetent it gets. Awful, terrible service. I spoke to the police about the incident and the Seargent said “ oh they’re terrible , we’ve had problems.”

GoogleI just wanted to take a moment to give some well-deserved praise to Chloe Bucks, who has been an absolute star throughout my mortgage process. From start to finish, she’s been so helpful, patient, and genuinely dedicated to making sure I’m getting the best deal possible. Chloe took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions (no matter how small!), and always made me feel like I was her top priority. I’ll definitely be recommending Chloe to anyone I know looking for mortgage advice!

I loved the property on their site, I asked for viewings on 31 ist of January, I was asked to view the property on a Saturday 05 of February, the key lock wasn't working I was asked to go back and view on 12th of February, after viewing we were told that we would get a phone call with landlords approval or not, then I got a phone call from the Connels, asking me how much I was gonna give to them i told the the price, and if it was long therm wich I agreed.No phone call from the Landlords approval or denial, I called the Connels twice on 12th and 13th of February,her colleagues told me: the first time the lady how show us flat was busy, the second time she was out, on 14th of February I checked the site and the Status was "let agreed "; later i was told that the flat was given to someone else. No common sense from the Connels to tell us the good or bad news before their changed the flat status on Google and let's find out this way.No common sense from the ConnelsI was wondering let agreed by whom?

Unfortunately there is no option to leave no stars. Our experience with Connells Estate Agency has been disappointing and frustrating. Despite choosing to seel our house with them due to their familiarity, we encountered poor communication and unprofessionalism throughout the process. From inaccurate advice provided by their mortgage advisor which led to delays and unnecessary stress and wasting money on our part, to feeling pressured to accept offers from investors, it became clear that our interests as clients were not prioritised. Despite assurances, the agency failed to address our concerns effectively, leaving us with a lack of confidence in their reliability and credibility. Overall, if you want to have a stress free, professional sale DO NOT choose Connells to present your home to the market!

GoogleDisgusting behaviour. Do not use. Got ripped off for £500 and they wanted us to change council tax, gas electricity and water bills to our names before we had even signed anything. Demi was very pushy and mislead us the whole time... will be complaining to their head office...I wish I'd read other peoples reviews before dealing with them. I would NOT reccomend them to anyone. After putting in a strong complaint, and Connells admitting they were at fault, eventually we had our £500 refunded.

They have been holding my deposit since March with no reason at all. We spoke to the landlord personally and agreed an amount which we sent an email detailing and still they don’t want to process our deposit. The one star is for Naomi and Ben from the hitchin office everybody else is useless

I went to get a mortgage in principle. After discussing and giving all my intimation, I didn’t hear anything from the company. I kept sending emails, and phone calls to the office multiple times. Every time I was told that someone would get back to me but nobody never got back. Incredible how such a company can even exist with such employees.

Ghosting I believe has happened rental property agent never replied back to me for ages then say not accepting my application affordability was there, taken all my time to gather all they needed and if this was a problem could have ask for a guarantor i have asked for all my documents to be removed and be deleted in my opinion appalling please be aware .

Against my better judgement, I was persuaded to sell my house with Connells. It was the worst decision I made. One particular staff member was aggressive and bullied me throughout the whole time. They were only on the buyers side and did not help me at all. We were manipulated and lied to, and what is a stressful experience was made even more so by that staff members actions. I was on the point of a breakdown by the time we moved. I will never use Connells again, and would advise people to stay well clear.

Booked a viewing at a property In Drakes Broughton with Connells Warndon Villages - No agent when I arrived. I had travelled 25 miles and managed to be 10 minutes early. I waited for 10 minutes AFTER the time of my appointment, called them and was told she is on her way she tried to call you. A) she couldn't have done as my phone was working for other callers and was switched on and working fine and there is always text. B) it is the AGENTS job to be on time for viewers, they have a contract with the client ..I didn't wait , I have better things to do than sit around and wait for am Estate Agent that cannot leave early enough to be on time for a viewing - disgraceful and unprofessional.

GoogleMy experience with Connells Eastleigh was amazing. The whole team were super friendly and very helpful. Dan and Hayden were especially great. Replying to my emails quickly and answering any questions I had. Hayden showed us around the flat we wanted to buy first, he was professional and kind. Even after our purchase, Hayden made the effort to ensure that we are settling in ok. Dan was also very helpful after we made our purchase, being available to answer questions we had about the property due to our management agency not being great. Dan and Hayden have made the process of buying so much easier and less stressful as they always went the extra mile! Thank you to both of you, I’d definitely recommend using Connells Eastleigh to anyone!

GoogleWe purchased our house with Connells and after many years of frustration we finally found our dream home. We first met Hayden who was friendly and very helpful, we were both very impressed with him. We also met with Charlotte, mortgage advisor, she was relentless in getting us a mortgage. Both were professional, and really worked hard for us. We also had help from Hobby who helped us with many questions and queries. Finally as the purchase progressed we had plenty of communication from the team ensuring the smooth transaction.

Connells did valuation report on my house recently. It is a comedy of errors by this company. Firstly, they tried to falsify my report by adding that my property was in a flood area and had previously been flooded. All of which was proven to be incorrect and instead of altering the valuation report to suit this they refuse.

I booked in to view at property with Connells on Saturday at 11am. I arrived 5-10 minutes early, after a long journey and waited for the agent to arrive. When no-one turned up, I called the office twice but there was no answer, so I left a message. I eventually had to give up waiting as I had viewings booked in with another agency.

We are absolutely disgusted with the way this situation has been handled. We placed a deposit on a park home in good faith, fully expecting that we would be kept informed of any deadlines or time scales relating to the sale. The park manager had apparently relayed a time frame to the estate agent, yet this crucial information was never passed on to us.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
