This has to be the worst company ever , first they leave me sitting outside a property because they can’t be bothered to show me round ! I then leave it weeks and no contact so I book another appointmentthe delightful member of staff tells me that even though the property has stood empty for years without a buyer and the roof fell in and had to be fixed they want 40k deposit Avoid absolute cowboys how does anyone trust you with there house sale Jokers !

Two one bed's to let two viewings one for each flat job done ....... both let . TrustpilotShameful customer service and poor performance to match
A great sales pitch when I first contacted them and they were all over me in responding. After that, the service was absolutely appalling. Messages I left were not answered and there was virtually no communication. I was told that there were about 26 people on their books 'looking for a property like mine'. It seems like they are only interested at the start and then customer service is zero. I rented my flat and for sure will not use this company when I come to sell it. I am not complaining that the flat didn't sell as that is not entirely in their hands but they could at least have communicated and shown some interest in me as a client.They didn't even bother to reply when I wrote to take the flat off the market and gave them polite but honest feedback.I do not know how they remain in business and they certainly won't ever get business from anyone I know.

Highly NOT recommended, unprofessional! We booked 3 view appointments, they want cancel 2 (when we waiting next to the property). Lady open a front door for us, hands crossed, and she said she haven’t got time for it. We ask for try the boiler but they not able to do it. They sent us a letter about the boiler is “good working order” we tried use it on a moving day but it’s fail. Don’t do hot water or heating. I contact the agent and solicitor to but they not able to repair it because the exchange is done.. I called 3 different gas engineer, they can’t fix it (it cost £60 each) I have to buy a new one ( is around £3000). I called the citizen advice and they offer for me them solicitor because it’s not legal. I ask them to move the rubbish from the property, but they left a lot of in the garage and garden. Broken doors and skirts so I need hire a skip because it’s bigger then my car (£100). But someone removed few radiators and change the bathroom door, its 2 inch bigger than the frame so no chance for close it. Our mortgage advisor left the company, we wait 2 months for the new one... and the new one didn’t do anything for us. She answer 1-2 weeks later and the answer was always “I can’t help for you”.All of these cost £3000 fees!

GoogleBEST AGENTS IN EASTBOURNE We have just bought and sold through fox and sons. The local knowledge Peter Bushell has is amazing he took our property on the market and his team of top sales people booked so many viewers for an open day. We achieved £15000 more than any other agent had valued our home at. They then went on to find us our dream home. With weekly updates the whole way though the process the whole team were brilliant I couldn’t have faulted the service. If anyone is looking to move give them a call.

GoogleMy husband and I decided to stay with fox and sons for them to rent our flat out again. The first experience was not good . But my husband had a long conversation with Victoria and ada who both explained that they have a new team who are very committed to getting every thing right this time. They have both been very helpful and on board with letting our flat for us. We have been informed all through the process and also Tom in another branch has been fantastic as well. Keep up the good work it's nice to meet people that are so committed. Thank you denise Alan Reynolds

To be honest one star is too many. This is a company that does not consider either the vendor or the buyer. All they are interested in is the money they can make themselves. Their terms are that they price your house based on their commission. So they price it high. Then they tell you that the price is too high and they have had offers from a number of interested buyers at a lower rate. You still have to pay commission based on their original evaluation.They also do not allow people to view properties they have on the market unless you have your property on with them to sell. This restricts the offers the vendor could get.We sold a property with them and would never deal with them again.We have tried viewing properties they have on the market. They will not let us as we don’t want them to sell our property.I would suggest that anyone looking to sell their house to use anyone apart from Fox & Sons

shocking service. DO NOT USE THEIR MORTGAGE SERVICE. We were first time buyers and used their service at eastbourne, after the first appointment when they found a provider we had to literly send all documents and do all the work for them with the mortgage company although they were meant to be doing this as we paid £690! This was because we had the mortgage company contacting us asking why the broker has not been sending the required documents to them even though we had sent them to him. We managed to get back £300 but if i knew how bad the service was we would of just burnt the money. This has put us from even using their buying service, which they didnt even turn up to a viewing we booked once!

Shysters.I put my property on with them as they offerred a good deal so I thought. I now realise they overvalued the property with lots of promises to get me hooked.I even paid a additional cash lump sum up front for enhanced marketing, but my iphone pictures were better than theirs!So we ran for the full 4 months of the contract and they got 4 viewings, so I told them I was going to go elsewhere. this dragged on for a bit and then I confirmed it to them and went to another agent who sold the place in about 4 weeks!So what the hell were Fox and Sons doing all that time!Now however, Foxy want to claim a 1% plus VAT fee from me for their time as they say there were two agents involved! I think Ill let this one go to court to see what a judge thinks as they did NOT achieve this sale and had plenty of opportunity to do so.Only use these guys if there is no one else and spray painting 'FOR SALE' on your fence is not an option!

Shockingly bad service. I would recommend to use any other estate agent apart from them. Firstly, they send Travis, who will go to the end of the Earth to get your listing by spending 2 hours if need be, giving an overpriced estimate to get your business then to later reduce it when it gets no interest. Try to charge you 2% fees+VAT at first, which a lot of people probably fall for if it's their first time and will push you to use in-house solicitors and mortgage advisors. After viewings, they pretty much always failed to give feedback on them unless I called and wouldn't even text when a viewing was going to occur. They would just give one phone call and go ahead even if it wasn't answered. They would send someone from the office who knew absolutely nothing about the property to do viewings, who also wouldn't be able to answer prospective buyers' questions. This also occurred when we went to view properties being sold by them. Then, when our property finally did get an offer as we only listed with them because the property we were buying was with them also, consequently the other property we were supposed to buy had been bought by someone else. What a coincidence! They then wanted us to still sell our property while they looked for another property for us. What an absolute joke of a business and I will tell everyone I can to avoid them like the plague.

Fox and Sons Crewkerne Really bad experience!! Fox and Sons company has rented us a house with bugs inside the kitchen and bathroom, the outside garden is absolutely disgusting, abandoned rubbish bags, broken chairs, greens everywhere, dirty rubbbish containers, abandoned children toys at the entrance, the list goes on. Generally the house is in very poor condition. We have sent a complaint letter and nothing was done so far!! Poor service, not recommended.

This company and their Group, Connells, are stuck in the past - where monthly Sales Figures are the one and only aim, with customers coming a long way down the list of their priorities.Do not touch with a bargepole.!We had cause to formally complain twice during the process of Fox & Sons selling our Mother's house. Since we lived 100 miles away we were totally reliant on their reliability and honesty, both of which turned out to be non-existent.They sound plausible, cheerful and eager to please but behind the facade is poor communication and greed.They will say one thing but the contract you sign is what they will take you to Court for if you don't agree with their performance and fees. These are the threats we got following our genuine complaint.We made the mistake of believing they were acting in our best interests but later discovered they were really acting for the Buyer rather than us, the Seller - and we were paying the Fees , not the Buyer !It's too painful to go through the detail of our saga, just don't hire them. Also be careful you don't hire any other Agent in the Sequence or Connells Group because they are all run from Dunstable with seemingly the same business philosophy - they are obviously out to make money and don't care much about how they get it.Top Tip: If you live in or near the property you are selling don't bother with a high street Agent - you can do it yourself using an online Agent. That way you can make your own decisions about the credibility of the Buyer. Plus avoid high Agents fees. Do your own viewings, plus make sure you ask for everything to be in writing to your Solicitor once you find a Buyer. There may be good Agents out there but other than viewings I can't see that they offer anything else that you can't do yourself.

GoogleWorst place to buy a house from! They lie constantly. They stopped me from viewing a property unless I saw their financial/mortgage advisor although I already had my mortgage sorted through a private financial advisor. When completing a purchase through them, they falsely told me that the vendors of the house we are buying from were using their ‘Fox and sons recommended’ solicitors and it would be quicker process if I was to use them.. however when the papers came through the vendors weren’t actually using their solicitors. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!

GoogleThe only reason I put one star is because I can’t put 0......says it all really. Myself and my flat mate were tenants through this branch and I can honestly say that we have been nothing but disappointed and angry with the way that we have been treated. Even once we left the flat after 6 months and a list of complaints the size of my arm, that the main Issue of the boiler not working, which we found out in the first week and was never repaired. We raised a massive complaint with Fox and Sons Main office and now 6 months on and we have still heard nothing from them. I can’t believe that a big national company like this can treat their customers so badly. So all in all we’re really happy with our experience and I would highly recommend this branch/company.......

Basic initial sale services were fine but after an offer was accepted contact deteriorated significantly to the point where I had to constantly chase the office for any updates and push them to obtain information from further down the chain, where there was an issue that needed resolving.I would call the office and ask for an update, I would be promised a call back later that day but wouldn't receive one. This happened several times. In the early stages I also sent a number of emails but not one was even acknowledged let alone answered. I also raised some questions during the course of this process and now post completion there are still some that have not been answered.Where most houses are sold via various internet sites it is the post offer acceptance service that is important. You rely on your estate agent to gather information, answer queries and push the sale through, after all you are normally paying a significant sum for this service and the problem solving skills of the staff involved. Unfortunately this service was missing completely. Ironically I actually received a better service from the estate agent that sold us our new property, a company that I didn't have to pay anything to!

I was mis-sold their Sequence legal services & lost £1100 when they failed to honour their guarantee. Ed Middle, a Branch Director, emailed a "no quibble money back guarantee" & then failed to honour it - the lack of honour & integrity goes right to the top. After wasting 2 months making a complaint to their compliance, they fobbed me off telling me to take my complaint to the Ombudsman - I assume they're hoping I just go away.

I have just completed on a purchase through the Fordingbridge branch. I will never choose to deal with this company again. The manager of the branch was very helpful though rarely available. Unfortunately our viewings and subsequent transaction was dealt with by a 'negotiator' who at fobbed us off at every opportunity, provided misleading, and at times entirely inaccurate information about our purchase. The whole service lacked professionalism, efficiency and an understanding of the contemporary housing market. Avoid.

Fox & Sons Hastings- Disgraceful service, my tenancy ended in Feb 2015, heard nothing from them untill July 2016 when they took me to court for unpaid rent from Feb 2015 till December 2015 even though I wasn't living at the property. The case went to court early 2016 & it got dismissed as I proved I vacated the property. September 2016 they took me back to court for the same reasons & once again the case got dismissed,I've been chasing them for a copy of my file that they have during my tenancy since July 2016 & still nothing from them, they don't even bother to call or email me back & they just palm me off with excuses everytime I go into the branch. Once again I received a email from my solicitor stating they are taking me back to court next month for the same reasons as the last 2 times! I have proved twice now that I left the property & this is seriously beyond a joke!
