Having been looking at property’s to purchase in and around Looe I found that most estate agents were not really interested even though I was a cash buyer,lack of follow ups,no details being emailed to me of new property’s to the market that I found on rightmove most agents seemed disinterested. But I have to say Stratton Creber were excellent,especially Holly Hasan who showed me a property twice that was no trouble to view when it was convenient for myself and kept me updated with the property as well as constantly emailing me property’s new to the market even though my offer had been accepted. When I come to sell there is only one agent I will be instructing Stratton Creber.

Just wanted to give Holly Hasan a special mention. I called into the Looe office on a couple of occasions to keep up to speed with what was available. Both times Holly was polite, attentive and helpful. Although I didn't end up buying from Stratton Creber (hence couldn't give 5*), if I was selling my property in this area, I am positive she would provide a first class and proactive service.

I can’t thank Amy and the gang at Stratton Creber (Looe branch) enough. The sale of ‘Wy Wurrie’ in Polperro has been a painful one for me - it was my mothers’ home and it was her wish that the house be kept in the family so that future generations could enjoy it following her passing this proved not to be possible as my mother died unexpectedly and didn’t leave a will. Many issues arose as a result of the whole probate process but Amy has been ever supportive and has really helped me through a difficult time. Every issue that came up regarding the cottage was faced head on by Amy and she has saved me many, many sleepless nights. If a problem arose regarding the house I could call Amy and she instantly acted on it. She was properly ‘on the case’ from start to finish and I shall be eternally grateful that I had her on my side. When choosing the correct agent when putting a house on the market one often uses fees and suchlike as a deciding factor and Stratton Creber ticked that box but I never expected such amazing service, help, and support as I received from Amy following engaging Stratton Creber’s services to conduct the sale of my mother’s cottage. Amy kept me up-to-date throughout the process and was happy to liaise on my behalf with contractors and local services to grease the wheels of the whole thing (I live 250 odd miles away so I couldn’t attend viewings and suchlike). I shall be forever thankful that I made EXACTLY the correct call when I chose Stratton Creber - they’ve been a godsend! Aydan Jones.

It was obvious that Martin did not want to allow me to view the property from my initial meeting with him outside the office. Was not allowed in the office even though I was wearing a mask, had to shout out my personal details in the busy street (other agents open), then had to chase up the viewing and was told no viewings available. Went directly to the property to drop a note off to arrange at a later date, the vendor then saw me and was very happy to show me round and were very welcoming. I put a offer in but agents would not give me feed back until my house was sold, not sure whats going on in the office but never have I needed to sell and pack up my house before I know if offers are accepted. Lauren was friendly enough but unable to help due to the office's policy of sell first before we talk prices.

Sometimes estate agents get a bad rap, but I think I can say without Martin and his team, Carla and Lauren, I’d still be waiting to exchange on my property just purchased. Throughout this process I’ve had a call most days from Martin with an update. Whenever I’ve called and they can’t talk they call back within the hour - highly responsive, and with good local knowledge. Thank you for a friendly and professional service especially during this pandemic. From dropping by the Estate agent to ask about a valuation and making an appointment for Martin to view, was so easy. Follow up emails to confirm everything and the safest way for both the agent and myself in the house. I had no problem with opening all windows in house and Maximum of 2 people present. All door handles to be sterilised and masks worn by occupants of the house and Martin. An honest valuation of the house that does have some issues which affects the valuation. These were given to Martin verbally and were taking into consideration. Lauren has also been very helpful on the telephone /emails. I would certainly recommend Stratton Creber Estate Agents.
