Take the stress out of selling…

We have lived in our home since we married, we haven’t had to buy or sell a property for 38 years, we were very anxious about the process and needed guidance and reassurance. We also didn’t want to be sold to.We initially met with Liam Galliford who came around at a time to suit us, he was consultative and reassuring. Liam was very professional and able to answer all of our questions honestly and clearly. His recommended strategy was spot on, we sold our house in 10 days, Liam had said he expected no more than 14. We needed to move fast.Liam was supported in the Crawley office by Scott, Tamsin and Nichole, who arranged all of our viewings. They were all guided, we didn’t need to do anything, and arranged with minimum disruption to our home life. We even agreed a communication method that I was able to manage with my busy work from home schedule.Now waiting for the contracting process to conclude…up to now, the process has not been stressful, just busy and manageable thanks to Liam and his team.Highly recommended.

Marcus at cubitt and west is amazing!

I have rented from cubitt and west for nearly 8 years. Marcus who is head of lettings in portsmouth is the most kindest and easiest man to get on with. He has always listened to all my needs and helps me every step of the way to get the right home I need from start to finish. He has great communication and is always easy to get hold off and always gets back to me promptly. If you're looking to rent a home I highly recommend Marcus from the portsmouth branch as he will go above and beyond to get you what you're looking for. I will never rent a property from any other company other than cubitt and west because they are so understanding and I trust them. Big thankyou to marcus for being amazing and so great at finding me my perfect homes over the years.

Emily Casey is the definition of great customer service

Emily Casey has been outstanding over the last couple of days. Very easy to talk with, extremely conscientious and organised. Emily has offered advice on brokers and mortgages which so far no other estate agent has volunteered. She spent time getting to know me instead of just filling out a form and making the experience personal. If I’m honest I want to buy a house just so Emily gets the commission! Thank you Emily, you are a credit to your team.

Absolutely amazing

Absolutely amazing, from the moment Maddie sat in our living room and talked about our property and sale, we had confidence in Cubitt and West. We had been thinking about selling for a while and had already had some disappointing almost disinterested agents around but Maddie was realistic and full of enthusiasm. The team organised viewings to fit in with us perfectly, marketed our property brilliantly keeping us in the loop every step of the way and best of all sold within days. It was all so easy and almost stress free (no move is ever stress free!). If you are exploring your options and not sure where to go I honestly cannot recommend Cubitt and West Highly enough.

Amazing service from Abi.

We had to find a rental for a short term very quickly with the added potential complexity of it being furnished. I contacted so many estate agents with little reply. We had a prompt, professional and efficient service from cubit and West in North end. Abbie was our contact and she was so kind and did everything she could for us. We were unable due to isolation to physically see the property so we had a video call arranged which meant that we still not miss out on the property. When we went in to sign contracts and pay our deposits it was pain free and done easily so and so I can't help but leave a glowing review. Thank you.

Dear All New Potential Property…

Dear All New Potential Property Clients,Please steer well clear of Cubitt and West.I recently requested to rent a property and requested a copy of their application process and timing before making any deposit. This information was not provided and eventually managed to get the requirements only by telephone.We made our deposit based on the confirmation of the details that we provided we were told were acceptable to rent a property.We then received a credit check and to our surprise I had CCJ listed against my name in November 2019 from back in 2012! There was not letter informing us about this claim as I now currently work abroad since 2017.Cubitt told my wife that our application had been cancelled and that they were keeping our deposit of 320 GBP. My wife is now left homeless with 2 young children and the agent did not want to discuss anything further.You have all read this post and advised to be careful or best still to avoid this agent!I know they will counter this post with some old story they have made up., but please don''t believe a word of what they say.I am not the only customer who has had a bad experience with this agent if you carryout a google search there are thousands of people who had the same bad experience as myself.Stephen J PickingConsultant

Wouldn’t use any other estate agent!

After meeting Michelle we didn’t get any other estate agents in. Straight away we took to her open and honest nature. We didn’t want the usual estate agent nonsense and she was up front with all information and costs. As soon as we signed things moved quickly and met the members of staff who were selling our home. Both Leonie and Chevan were lovely and we felt confident they were looking after our best interests. Unfortunately our first buyer fell through, but this didn’t cause a problem as Leonie stayed late to re-market our property, within days we had another buyer thanks to C & W. We’ve now finally exchanged thanks to Lindy who’s been negotiating between us and the buyer to the end. From start to finish I would definitely recommend C & W Redhill.

I have recently bought a house through the Cranleigh branch of Cubitt and West. I have found the whole team to be extremely helpful (Kerry-Ann, Ross and Pam) however I would like to thank Lindy Cunningham in particular as my sales progresser, based in Redhill, who has been really kind and patient with me as I have gone through this process during a difficult time. I have found the purchase stressful but she has answered my calls courteously and promptly along with my emails, chased up numerous queries and I feel has added the personal touch to the whole process. I am very happy with the service that Cubitt and West has provided and indeed I will be moving into my new house within the next fortnight which is both a relief and a joy.

Big shout out to the Horley branch

We would like to say a huge thank you to Siobhan and Ellie at the Horley branch.From the moment Siobhan came round for our first meeting we knew we were in good hands. She was very professional, friendly and made us feel at ease straight away.Selling a property is stressful enough but we were selling two. Siobhan and Ellie have taken a lot of the stress out of it by keeping in constant contact with us and giving us feedback after each viewing.We were always made to feel we were important and nothing was too much trouble. Ellie even popped round one evening after work to take some more photos as my partner wanted some more added. Kerry-Ann sold my parents’ house to them back in 2006 and then sold it for them again in 2021. The reason they chose Kerry-Ann and Cubitt & West this year was because they remembered her clearly and the excellent service 15 years ago. She was totally professional, extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable, candid, proactive, and went out of her way to make the process easy for my elderly parents who were both shielding much of the time. And it couldn’t have been easy during the worst of Covid. Kerry-Ann and her team were brilliant at juggling my requests around my mum and dad’s sale. I was very grateful.

We've been extremely happy with Siobhan and her team and the service C&W have provided.We were impressed from the first moment we contacted C&W and when Siobhan came round to value our house, it was an easy decision to market our property with her. Siobhan is very personable, highly professional, and you know you are in safe hands. Her team is professional and friendly, and I built a great rapport with Kurran with whom at one point I was in contact with on an almost daily basis! All communications have been great throughout.
