Started off really well. The Horley branch had some staff who were only too pleased to help. Sadly, once the flat was sold the standard of service ( and good staff) just disappeared and plummeted! They simply just don`t seem to care!Staff don't seem to stay long, which meant a decline in continuity and service. Very challenging to speak to aftersales team who always appear to be on the telephone and when you complain there is no acknowledgment or even an attempt to address one's complaint. Equally as poor is their recommended conveyancer team. A litany of mistakes and errors resulting in unnecessary delays to achieving a quick seamless sale. All in all, hugely disappointing.....Not to be used again! Horley has many other Agents to choose from.

Due to the nature of their roles, our Sales Coordinators spend most of their time on the telephone however, they will aim to respond to voicemail messages as soon as possible, usually by the end of the same day. We are sorry if staff changes affected your experience and the high standards we strive to achieve were not always met on this occasion. The legal representative we recommended is a highly rated local firm and we find that our communication with them can help to speed up the process. absolute disgrace, I've primarily been "dealt" with, by Lee, Lizzie, and Kirsty, and they've treated me and my partner like animals, expecting me to roll around in sewage and filth, and then act like it's an inconvenience that I'm upset about it. The staff have been rude, and unhelpful, belittling mental health issues and basic human rights. Despite very clearly expressing dissatisfaction, it took 8 months to get my complaint raised to the "Customer support department" who will take 15 working days to "investigate" the complaint, even still with other properties excrement flooding the property. Their phone behaviour is utterly disgraceful, the place appears to be run by a bunch of prepubescent children who seem to everything in their power, to do everything except what's been asked of them, which is nothing more than "please repair what's broken". Mould issues haven't been addressed in over a year, 2 sewage leaks within 3 months, and the continued disregard for basic human needs just shows that they should not be in the business of Serving People. And in this day an age where mental health awareness is higher than ever, their absolute disregard for peoples explicitly mentioned illnesses and struggles, is laughable.If you are the kind of person that likes rolling around in other peoples literal fecal matter, then apply to rent through this agency, as if this is your expectation I can guarantee they will go above and beyond for this.I'd actually petition that this estate agents are worse than the infamous Brand Vaughn for anyone familiar with this similarly parasitic company.

Dear Mr Cleary We deeply sympathise with the problems you are experiencing and have appointed a senior manager to oversee the matter however, there is no oversight on our part and our hands are largely tied. Cubitt & West promptly reported the issue to the Block Management company who are responsible for maintenance of the building. They assure us that they are doing all they can to fix the problem, which originates from communal areas, and they will arrange a biochemical clean once resolved. Regrettably, the managing agents will not allow Cubitt & West to instruct independent contractors and we can do nothing more than continue to chase a resolution for you.Kind regardsCubitt & West

Unethical, disappointing and uncaring. The flat I rented was managed by them. It had a major electrical danger and fire safety hazard. Instead of addressing the issue, they kept trying to pass the buck to the block management who in turn passed the buck to them. Meanwhile I was living without electricity for three days already and that too with an infant in the house. Did they care? Of course not. Me and family could die for all they care as long as they get to save a few hundred by fobbing me off. Eventually I had no option but to get a pvt electrician and get the thing repaired. He too said it was a fault with the house and not the block. He did say that it needed extended repair and he has applied a band aid of sorts. But cubit and west did not care.i had to eventually vacate the flat and they have still not refunded the money I paid for the repairs. Instead they found a new tenant and got them to pay higher rent than I was paying without even repairing anything!!!! Try and stay away from them if you can.

They have also contacted the Landlord for reimbursement for the repairs.The electrics were checked and confirmed safe by a qualified electrician before re-letting the property and there have been no further issues reported by the new tenant. He has been kind, professional, courteous and tried to be helpful. He tried to deliver what he promised but couldn't do so always as his hands were tied by a corrupt organisation. If at all I ever think of using cubit and west again (I'd have to be desperate if I do) it will be because of Tom. All the best to him in his career.
