Brian holt Good Agency

Overall good agency to rent with. They have replied to every question I asked them and keep being helpful. The only thing which I would suggest to improve is the response time and advance clarity around what the landlord agrees to do regarding property management. Examples would include decorating, household electronics replacement and etc. It would save time for everyone involved into process and d would set up tenants' expectations in advance of their rent start date. Everything else is great. They always turn up on time for viewing, it is easy to make an appointment, they always pass my questions to the landlord. I would recommend them in future.

Although I didn't wind up using them again this time. Every interaction I have had with Brian Holt has been excellent. Having to use other estate agents has highlighted this. They are open about fees, prompt and communicate appropriately. Although I was disappointed to miss out on the property because the Landlord wanted a family in which I felt was a little unfair being a young professional, I can't fault BH for their service and quick communication. They are the only estate agents I think I could actually recommend.

If I could give zero stars I would! I received the worst customer service ever from the letting staff at this office - 10 days to get a call back with a reply to a simple question, five days to call me back following my request to view a property and no reply at all to an email I sent to them via their online contact form, despite chasing up on several occasions - not sure what you actually have to do to rent a house through this agency!! I spoke to two different people and got nowhere - totally incompetent

Mid-Term Inspection

I was delighted with the service I received from Brian Holt. They are efficient and professional as well as friendly and approachable. They did the mid-term inspection on my rental property and provided an in-depth and honest report, together with recommendations at a very competitive cost. They been extremely helpful in assisting me to find reliable local contractors to carry out the work recommended in the report, which would otherwise have been very difficult as I live 130 miles away from my property. I highly recommend this Agent.

Outstanding Service, Support and Advice

Brian Holt were fantastic throughout our unexpectedly protracted sale. They were professional, communicative and supportive. They acted throughout as a calm and reasoned.team and never dropped the ball through the many twists and turns. The details produced for our property were outstanding and were the result of the care they put into the marketing of properties. We were never left dangling or unaware of the situation and were always greeted warmly when we contacted them or popped in to the office.

Relatively good experience

As a Canadian expat, having rented in the UK for the past year and a half, I found the overall experience difficult, to say the least. I have dealt with two real estate agencies in the past and Brian Holt was definitely the better of the two. A bit more personable, seemed to care at least a little bit more for the tenant, provided more convenient payment methods for the deposit and the first month's rent, etc. The process of renting was quite transparent and they were timely in getting back to me.

Absolutely diabolical service. Asked for over 2 weeks to view a property that miraculously has now sold stc. Was told my viewing was awaiting confirmation but nothing. Only found out by looking at rightmove today where it was changed. Typical sales assistant James gave me the worst service ever.
