Fantastic service from start to finish - a seamless experience regardless of who you speak to in the company. Estate agents have a thankless task, but Scott Marlin and team are incredibly helpful, well organised and knowledgeable. Whiteknights did a brilliant job with the sale of my property. Where one of their local competitors had failed the previous year, they excelled and exceeded my expectations, and restored my faith in the the house sale process. I felt that this began with Scott Marlin's honest and considered valuation, and continued with the vetting of viewers, meaning only proceedable, serious purchasers came through the door. The post-sales support from Tom Fisher was superb, he understood what I needed from the transaction and relayed this to the chain. We were looking for a property in Earley/lower Earley We came across many agents however for this particular property which was marketed by Whiteknights, we met their estate agent Amilcar who understood our situation and was very helpful and quick to get us not only the landlord approval and then the tenancy process started. Having worked with Whiteknights for the purchase of our house 29 years ago they were the natural choice when it came to sell. Scot Marlin was able to accurately sum up the current local market conditions for our immediate area (Calcot) and provide a realistic market value for our property. From arranging professional photographs and marketing material, hosting an initial live virtual viewing via facebook, to the pre-vetting of potential viewers and arranging viewings, the time from start of marketing to receiving an offer was just under a month which helped us move quickly to secure the property we were looking for. JOHN BENNETT! (FABULOUS) Just wow where do I start! After a crazy 4 months with what felt like a life time of stress I feel rather saddened that I won’t be able to call John for rant and a laugh! Highly unprofessional. Had bad experience twice, once in 2015 & again now in 2019. We made an offer for a property we saw via Whiteknights Earley in August 2015. After the offer was made and accepted we stopped getting any updates at all. Phone calls and emails not responded to. Finally after more than a month, I sent them an email on 25th August 2015 saying we would like to withdraw our offer and complaining about our experience. No response to that email. After a couple of months I get a call from the branch pretending nothing had happened asking for us to proceed with the offer. We did not go ahead as we made an offer on another property. Back in market again in 2019, I saw property which I requested a viewing for on Whiteknights website. I got a call saying the Buyer was not available on the date I requested which was obviously OK. The person started cross selling other services, Mortgage to which I said no, they offered there selling services for selling out existing property to which I said no, they offered there services to let our existing property to which I said no, they were pushy. I was then told that the property that we had requested for had been underpinned so I requested for more details, but they were not interested in giving any information at all but rather only push their other services.. I was told that I will be called to confirm other time. A week later I get a call and a voice message saying you have an appointment now and I am waiting at the property so wanted to check where you are..... Next day I get a call from someone else who asks how was the property.... I said I never got an appointment confirmation in the first place, so the person very rudely says, you need to check your spam, it is not our fault... Since then I have checked, I have not received an email in inbox or spam.... Highly unprofessional and rude, I wont be dealing with them, even if I liked a property they have listed, I wont get in touch as the team is unprofessional.
