Dexter's Letting Review

I have been renting my flat for a dozen years with Dexters and overall they are good at what they do, and generally get rents in on time. My flat is agent-managed so the team is generally responsive and get things done well. ParWhen things are amiss, the management of Dexters come into play and they solve problems which is great. I've most recently been working with property manager Bailey and she's been great at finding the right contractors at the right prices to get things done to a satisfactory level.I intend to continue to let my flat with Dexters.

We’ve been looking for a house for over a year. It’s been difficult to find the perfect fit for our family. Most agents just send random emails but Howard at Dexter’s curated the search for exactly our needs. He checked in over the year and understood exactly what we were looking for. He was on top of it and anything that got our profile - he made sure to make us a priority. Howard finally found us the perfect home and the experience we had to close was wonderful. Terrible viewing experience with Dexters today. Booked to see a house at 12:30 today. We arrived 30m early to scope out the local area. Within minutes of arriving, someone called to say the estate agent would be 15m late so we walked further into ealing with my disabled father. When we called to confirm timings for the viewing, Dexters claimed the estate agent was already there. Had to rush back with my disabled father who has a walker. Lucy rushed through the viewing without answering any questions. Complete waste of time on a saturday morning and the team at Dexters clearly are unable to do basic things like time management.

Dexters have managed my property for rent for the past seven years and, through thick and thin - including the wretched COVID years - have done a brilliant job no matter what issue arose (and there have been a few). The whole team, whose members have changed during this long period, have always been prompt communicating and responding. I particularly wish to single out Charlotte Alsford, who has been a fantastic support since she joined the team, including especially in dealing with the insurance company over a protracted subsidence issue.
