We initially used Chase Residential to rent my sisters house, as she was moved into a care home. We met Tom and was very impressed with his knowledge as well as his politness, honesty and straightforward way of doing business. Tom found excellent tenants and we had no issues for 2 years. If you are a prospective tenant, run away. Never, EVER use this agency. We had the misfortune of this agency taking control of our tenancy in Sept 2023 - previously, we used to rent directly from the landlord. They will not care about you, or advocate for you, and will only ever prioritise the landlords pocket. They're patronising, belittling, inhumane, cruel and don't have an iota of compassion for humans. They will pepper correspondence with flowery language whilst delivering devastating messages, to appear nice and 'friendly'. We were issued a no fault eviction notice under the guise of the landlord wanting to sell up, to "reduce their investment portfolio" - they're talking about people's homes. They've just remarketed said property for an increase in rent of roughly 30% (despite our rent having gone up around 12 months ago). The property is on Roxborough Park in Harrow - if you're considering moving in, I strongly urge you not to. They've just applied their ~10th coat of paint to the interior as "redecorating", the flat is damp & infested with mould - which requires continuous cleaning. It's likely that the rodents will also move back in whilst it sits unoccupied. The majority of the furniture left in the flat is ancient & falling apart. The fridge is broken & will continuously leak water once the blocked drain pipe fills up again - it can't be moved to be fixed as it will disturb the "pest proofing" around the base of it and/or make a hole in the cheap lino kitchen floor. I can't urge you enough to avoid having anything to do with these soulless, money grabbing, greasy scum of the earth good for nothings. Please heed my warning, or you'll move in to regret it.
