Venture Properties Durham reviews

We can’t recommend the Durham Venture Properties Team highly enough. Excellent service throughout from initial valuation to successfully completed sale. From our first meeting with Todd, who clearly knows the Durham market well, through our contact with Connor, whose communication was regular, friendly, and extremely professional, and occasional exchanges with Gemma, we felt very confident in our choice of agent. We were impressed by the Team’s knowledge and efficiency and had no issues trusting their suggestions. They are well-informed, to the point, and very responsive. Connor was brilliant at making sure everything kept moving and keeping us updated. The whole business was remarkably stress-free, which is exactly what you want when selling a property. We wholeheartedly recommend the Durham team. Thank you! Rachel and Alex

Fantastic service from Venture. I purchased a property through a charity and the service from Connor was amazing. He’s proactive, intelligent and super efficient, which is quite rare for a very busy estate agent. The service of purchasing the property through Venture was so good that I chose them to sell my property a few months later and that sale went through superbly. Again, if it wasn’t for Connor being proactive and diligent the whole process would’ve been very painful. Connor went above and beyond for me, outstanding! I’d give Connor a raise! Todd leads a good team and if I ever wanted to move again in the future, I’d only use Venture.

I have been a tenant through Venture for 4 years, and Gemma has been incredible. She has looked after me and my property since day 1, the communication and service has been second to none. What started out as a 6 month stop gap whilst legalities were tied up turned into 4 incredible happy years. I am only leaving the property as I am relocating but if I am ever back in the north east Gemma will be the first person I call for a property! Brilliant service and will recommend you to anyone in the area.

We would like to thank Todd, Gemma and Conner for the excellent experience we have had with venture. Initially as our management company as we rented it out, then to complete the sale of the property. We have worked with them since 2016 and have really appreciated the prompt and efficient communication, their positive approach to quickly resolve any issues for our tenants and to support the progress of our sale. We would not hesitate to recommend venture Durham for either rental management or for a sale.

We sold our home with Venture as they were recommended to me. Todd came to give us a valuation and took good photos. We had a lot of interest from buyers and were given feedback following each viewing. Throughout the whole process Connor proactively kept us informed and explained each step of the process. I will definitely use Venture again to sell my parents home.

I recently sold my property via Venture and would 100% recommend them. A very professional, swift and reasonably priced service. From our valuation visit which was conducted by Todd, to the property going on the market and sales coordination that was handled by Connor at the Durham office, we received first class service. Connor was extremely helpful and thorough in giving us updates throughout the process to ensure a smooth transaction. The price in comparison to other estate agents for their service was also extremely competitive.

The worst properties company ever! Our completion date suppose to be today, but instead of that we are homeless with a baby in this very cold weather and a van loaded with our belongings as a result of this company employees incompetence! Because they didn't have done all the paper work during of 3 months time!!! Must be avoided! 0 stars, not even 1 PS: It is up to your company to make sure that all the documents and legal matters are on the place for the completion date. Until 12 on that date we had no update from your company or solicitors! You only take money from transactions without having any legal responsibilities? I don't think so! And also every time when we need it an update we had to call you, not vice versa. You said that your phone line get closed and also you closed the office before waiting an answer from the solicitors. We will make sure that we will be legally compensate from all parties involved in our miserable situation! You didn't had time to wait the solicitors answer but you had time to answer to this review!

Purchased a property in July 2019 from a seller that had hired Venture Properties as their Real Estate Agent. I dealt with Connor Wilson from the Durham office throughout the process. The process went very smooth and Connor was very talented at handling the sale. Fully recommended company, and a great person to deal with. A+

We recently sold 2 properties with Venture. We have had dealings with many estate agents over the years but Venture without a doubt have been the best by some distance. Throughout the process they have been professional, kept us up to date on progress, given good guidance when needed, always been easy to contact and swift in responses. We were impressed with how quickly they got the properties online. The adverts were accurate with excellent photos and they were happy to go with the prices which we felt most appropriate. All in all, a very good experience and I feel confident in recommending them to others.
