Friendly staff and amazing service

Pattinsons North Shields were absolutely amazing. From being able to see the property quickly, to seeing the property numerous times when we needed to, nothing felt too much for them. Lindsay, Craig and John were so helpful with keeping in touch to let us know what the sellers were doing, and honestly, this process took so long that we were beginning to lose hope of getting our new house. But they kept chivvying us along and helped us keep faith in everything. We’re so grateful for their calm during all this. 10/10. Would recommend them to everyone needing to sell their house!

Now had two negative experiences first…

Now had two negative experiences first they put a property on the website I rang within an hour of seeing it to be told the renter had bought it. Why put it on the website if this is the case.Secondly had a viewing booked at a property at 10am today to be rang at 9am to say it was cancelled and that the property had sold. Not given any opportunity to bring the viewing forward only gave one other option to view which we couldn’t make. I am now reluctant to look at any property which pattinsons are marketing.

Quick and easy selling process

The whole process of selling the house was made very straightforward by the very competent and helpful staff at Pattinsons. Clear explanation of their services at valuation time and ongoing advice and support throughout the process. This company have a lot of prospective buyers on their books so the house sold quickly. Viewings were organised and accompanied by Pattinson staff as the house was empty so we were not inconvenienced. Staff at the office, particularly Geno, were always helpful if I had queries and kept us informed of any updates. I would certainly use them again if selling another house

This company is a complete disaster and…

This company is a complete disaster and are heartless, avoid at all cost! They deceived me into moving into a mould infested house, they painted it so that I wouldn't know. Few days after moving in, the mould started showing, I snapped pictures and even did a video to them, I had two toddlers at home who were reacting to this mould, even my hubby kept sneezing. We had to leave since they couldn't do anything about it. Aside the mould, we met so many rubbish in the garden, attic and behind the fence, apparently the last tenant dropped all those things, they made no attempt to remove them, I still spent £500 to throw away the rubbish. Now they have refused to return my withholding deposit, this is just sheer wickedness. Avoid this company at all cost😡😡😡😡

Avoid using any solicitors recommend by Pattisons!

I had a horrendous experience with Bridgeview Law, specifically with Ryan Kelly, the so-called "Junior Conveyancer." This firm is a complete disaster, and I urge everyone to steer clear!They picked up my case just before the completion date and sent the TR1 form less than 24 hours before the complaint date, expecting it to be signed and returned in time. They didn't even request a redemption statement from my lenders until AFTER the original completion date! I've called and emailed them countless times, but they completely ignored me.To top it off, they moved forward with the completion without any warning, claiming on the day that they were looking to complete. This was despite their prior promise that it would only take a week from the original date. They completely ruined my holiday by missing the deadline!The original completion date was supposed to be through Pattisons Auction on 22/08/24, but they finally completed on 9/9/24. Now, I'm still waiting for my funds and answers to my questions. The funds look suspiciously low, and the redemption costs seem way higher than it should be. I've raised my concerns, but once again, no response!After reading all the negative reviews, it's clear that this company is a shambles. If you want to waste your money or risk having your sale fall through, then go ahead and use them. Otherwise, do yourself a favour and avoid Bridgeview Law and Pattisons Auction like the plague!

Pattinsons and accompanying solicitors not recommended

We recently sold our house through Pattinsons South Shields and used their recommended solicitors ICS Law and the communication between an ‘in-house’ firm and estate agents was dreadful. How can you recommend a firm that the office openly says is awful. On one instance I was phoned by Pattinsons relaying info from our buyers and when I phoned back to give an answer Keith the ‘Senior Manager’ stated he won’t pass that message on as that’s not his job. He told me to call the solicitors to do that he won’t get involved…when someone from his office was the one who called me in the first place and got involved!! We won’t be using either of these again and to others just pay slightly more and get a better service.

Pattinsons are advertising an hmo( 10 students) at 10 st judes ter south shields or a man who is bankrupt and has laundered £100000 cash from trafficking immigrants and has gained the hmo licence in a fake name using a fake passport. Patt know the business is not legimate or registered with companies house or hmrc yet they are still advertising his hmo which he does not own on paper .He has police protection as he is the head of the mosque at south shieldsThis company helps people launder money which is a disgrace

The property sold had been used for rental and there had been 4 agreed sales, 3 that fell through in just over 1 year. In addition the solicitors recommended by the agent were closed down, so there was a lot of tension about buyer 4. Wendy kept on top of the progress and kept in regular proactive contact with the buyer, their solicitor and estate agent and my newly appointed solicitor. She kept me appraised of developments and was aware of the issues at each stage. Prior to this phase it had been dificult to speak with the progression team and Angela in the office had been very helpful. I think it very prudent for your firm to retain and reward Wendy in the interests of achieving customer satisfaction and providing experience, commitment and sensitive motivation to advancing sales.

I hold I property in Newcastle with Pattersons, they fully manage the property and have gone above and beyond.Stephen Wilson in particular is amazing.We had a problem with the electrical company and Stephen went the extra mile talking to the power company on our behalf and even siting in a empty property for hours out of his work hours for the company to come and fix the power.Well and truly a outstanding branch and will be using in the future to manage more of our portfolio.

Why choose Pattinsons? It’s very very simple from start to finish in the process Pattinsons were fantastic. We needed to market quickly & it was done in a matter of a couple of days. The staff that dealt with the marketing of the property (Morpeth office) were friendly, informative & professional. We had a viewing within a couple of days & an offer made which we accepted. The sales team at the Alnwick office then were on the ball making sure the process was smooth & speedy we were completed within 12 weeks. How UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE .....( Jason ) Jarrow Office.You KNEW the situation we were in a week ago ... So hounding my daughter with 8 phone calls in 5 days was totally unwarrented and your non action today was equally TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE .... We have no problem AT ALL with the house in question being sold to someone else ... Today we were in the process of securing a very expensive bridging loan that if had been accepted would have been totally useless with US potentially incurring interest charges and solicitors fees for a house that had already been sold .... However what I do find extremely rude is YOU not having the common courtesy of giving us a phone call Informing us that things had changed …. As already stated you had absolutely no problem calling numerous times when it wasn’t sold.Make no mistake if this is how Pattinson Estate Agents treat their potential customers it would appear we have had a lucky escape and you will certainly not be getting any of our future business.Response to your seemingly standard replies to 1 star reviews.....EXACTLY WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO INVESTIGATE.... Fantastic buying experience

Wish I had done more due diligence…

Wish I had done more due diligence before wasting 3 months with this company. Just go onto their website and sort by auction finishing soonest. Check out the number of properties that have received no offer at all (90 %) and of the 10% that have a bid check the number that is lower than the starting bid price. Given that the starting bid is likely to be about 15% below what you have said you will accept it demonstrates what a complete waste of time this is.I have had 4 viewings, no feedback and no offers . Although it is a difficult market I had received an offer, prior to going with Pattinsons £35k higher than the starting bid. They convinced me I would get an offer within 2 cycles and I am on my third which is their minimum contractual period ( 3 months)
