GoogleWould not put my rent application forward for a 3 bed house of £900 a month as I was only at my current employer for 5 months. 2 months later I have bought my first house and this wouldn't of been a possibility if I moved a few months ago. So thank you for not thinking I could be trusted paying the rent it's changed my life for the better.

They are quick to respond to any issues or queries and have always kept me in the loop. GoogleWe went to a few agencies around the Dunstable area but this one was by far the best, our housing agent went above and beyond to get us a really nice place that was also dog friendly. The other agencies didn’t seem to contact us after visiting them and they didn’t seem to care but Alexander & Co made sure to keep in contact and send us regular houses to rent within our price range. Without them we would still be looking, 5 stars would recommend to others looking to move to this area :)

I never had to look back to another agency. Very professional & Friendly staff at the agency office. GoogleI waited till we completed on the sale of our property to give a proper rating of the whole experience with Alexander & Co Estate Agents in Dunstable. We chose 3 agents for a valuation, Jason the valuer came on time as you’d expect, a good first impression, he came prepared with stats & even a mock up of an advert (one agent didn’t even come on time, he was a straight no from the beginning, as much as he talked he’d already missed his chance) Despite the house being quite a standard nice property, Alexander & Co treated the property as if they were selling Buckingham Palace. Everything they said they did, we definitely chose the right team, well done. On the opening day we had over 30 viewings in 2 hours. The property sold over its original valuation. First class service, very professional, reliable & knowledgable. Thank you Alexander & Co 6 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

GoogleExcellent communications from Jason, Julia and Gary, my house was a difficult sell due to various factors the sale fell through twice before being successful third time so the agency had their work cut out and certainly earned their commission with over 30 viewings! I am a believer in local agents and would recommend them even if the cost is slightly higher than chain estate agents, it's worth it for their local knowledge and personal service.
It certainly was a challenging sale during Covid for all concerned. We all wish you well in your new home and good luck for the future Aaron.

GoogleAvoid this company. For example, in the employee Connor, he took a deposit under the pretext of renting me an apartment, then he says he missed the checks and steals my deposit. He does not want to return the deposit. It is a dishonest company. He steals the money from the tenants and requests it as a deposit, without returning the deposited amount to the tenant
In response to your Google review and to put the situation in perspective, You were asked to pay 1 weeks holding fee to remove the property from the market whilst the referencing and our due diligence checks on behalf of the landlord took place, unfortunately due to your previous history you failed the referencing process. Our application form is quite clear about what is required to pass the references, and at no time has Connor been dishonest or acted inappropriately., We as a company have offered to refund half of the administration fee the remainder will cover costs incurred for referencing and administration. FacebookI am literally disgusted at the treatment my family have recieved renting a property from your company specifically Aylesbury branch. They basically insulted us by saying we left the property smelling of dog. We have followed the contract and had the place deep cleaned (end of tenancy) dry cleaned the curtains. Repainted a room with silk paint instead of the emulsion that was previously there. We fitted new fire alarms. Fixed the shower door filled several holes in the walls that were there when we moved in (pictures as proof) but the letting manger at Aylesbury said WE left holes in the walls. When we got served our notice to leave out of the blue lettings management was so rude when we told them we had to stay there until they served us a court notice which we were told to do. As if we didn't feel bad enough but unfortunately we can't make two children homeless because we feel bad. If the "smell of dog" was going to cause a problem, why allow a dog in the property? Our dog smelling of dog is not our fault. I find it strange there's such a strong smell of dog even though everyone else can only smell fresh paint. When we asked where's our deposit or have you even heard anything my husband was met with no answers. Alexander and co are very blase with such large amounts of money needed for two children because we're now out of pocket.
Above pictures of the probable cause of "slight stale smell" this is the result of a leak from the shower that got through to my daughter's room. It went into the wall, skirting boards, wallpaper and carpet. It destroyed the toys which were there.

GoogleI have recently rented a fabulous flat through Alexander & Co in Dunstable. Although moving had it stressful moments, the service I received from Stuart and his colleagues has been fantastic. I am pernickety by nature but I could not find anything to worry about, as the property was in excellent condition. I was introduced to all the team members, who made me feel important and that they had my interests in mind. 5 stars all the way.

FacebookDisgraceful company. Rented a property from them for 4.5 years. They told me I owed rent which I argued but paid anyway (stupid I know) now they’ve decided I overpaid rent but they’re going to deduct some of what they owe me due to a debt on the meter which occurred after I left the property and after I had closed my EDF account. Even with proof they are still trying to hold on to money which is rightfully and legally mine. Not only that my children and I were made to live in an incredibly damp flat which I complained about for 4 years, my stuff turned mouldy, even the bathroom lino ....they eventually listened and sent someone to check. A bad leak was subsequently found under the bath which had caused all the damage. Even now they are trying to withhold £290 of my deposit for “damp damage” which they ignored for years. It’s currently in dispute with the deposit company. NEVER EVER RENT FROM THEM

GoogleI found Alexander & co to be very unprofessional, the lettings manager Richard didn't really know what he was doing. They handed me a section 21 notice as my landlady had passed away using the original tenancy agreement details which had my ex named on there, so was null and void anyway, the new documents had only been signed a couple of months prior with just my name on it. They charged an exit fee of 130 pounds even though I was served a section 21 notice. I didn't choose to leave. I questioned Richard about this but he said it was standard procedure. ( which you can't do from June this year anyway) Diabolical service, and the efficiency of a rodent. I would not recommend them to anybody. Unhelpful and unprofessional on every level.

GoogleWhat a fin terrible experience with both the landlord and the agency. Charged £x at the end of the tenancy for damages caused by us, which is not even true. I spent £x from my pocket that was never been reimbursed to me and likely saved the house for further damage, but that is where I made the mistake. Wish I would just report the issue and leave it till the engineer would arrive, wich would likely be at least a week. Could cause the landlord thousands of pounds worth damages. Karma will find you all........
