Intercounty have been amazing last few weeks for me and my family, I would like to especially say a huge thank you to Clare Hedges who had been so understanding of the situation my family was in, she helped every step of the way she was truly Amazing she got everything sorted quick for us, as we needed a place within a few weeks sorted, she updated near enough every other day with telling me what was happening what was going on, I can say she really goes beyond and above for people very dedicated to her job such a lovely lady! Myself and my partner bought our home with Intercounty Great Dunmow just over 2 years ago and received an overall great experience with them....fast forward to present where we are questioning our options and we wouldn't consider going anywhere else! Karl Graham (Sales manager Dunmow office) did a valuation for us recently, as we are hoping to move in the near future. Karl was exceptionally professional, helpful and very personable. I left a review 4months ago during the early stages of a sale that has now completed. Since then, notwithstanding the problems with the housing/mortgage market in the wake of the “mini budget,” Intercounty have managed to keep the sale on track. Despite a small reduction in price at one stage, they were able to sell the house for a sum which was more than the asking price that had been set back in May and substantially exceeded one of the other local valuations that I received at that time. I think the outcome was an excellent achievement in the circumstances. The staff were all friendly and open to deal with and I felt very confident that Katie was looking after my interests as a client. She kept things moving, kept me informed, and tackled any issues assertively and with a clear head. She was really excellent to work with and there was good support from the rest of the team. I haven't sold a house for well over 30 years and I'm fairly “old school” and when I first walked into Intercounty's open plan office it all seemed a bit more casual than I was expecting. I'm glad I wasn't put off; they know their business and, on the basis of this sale, I would definitely recommend them.

Time to move on....

There were many positive things that could be said about Intercounty previously but over the course of the last 12/18 months the service provided to landlords has fallen off a cliff. Multiple call and emails needed to actually get anything done, errors in payments and, oh when they decided to close an office and sell the rental book to another firm, informed me at 8.55am on the day the transfer took place.

Excellent marketing and customer service

We recently sold our property just outside of Saffron Walden with the assistance of Intercounty. We had tried a few other local agents previously but they put no effort in to try to sell the property, just waited for someone to look on Rightmove. The marketing was excellent and the photography was by far the best we had seen. Their communication between offices is what sold our house. We were kept up to date with progress especially as it got stressful at the very end of the process. Would definitely recommend.
