I've just come to the end of my tenancy in a property let by the Dunfermline office of Martin & Co. In the process of finding a place to rent I had dealings with a good few companies, and was surprised at the disinterest verging on contempt from some of them. Thankfully Martin & Co were not at all like that. This was the first time I had rented a property and they helped immensely guiding me through the process(es). We were able to complete the Tenancy Agreement online...all.signed and sealed from the comfort of my living room. They are friendly and approachable whilst remaining businesslike. Their communication throughout was excellent and all my queries were handled within a maximum of 24 hours (excluding weekends), usually far quicker. They also gave me plenty of notice if they, the landlord or whoever needed access to the property. Another thing which speaks volumes of Martin & Co is the way I felt respected by them. I wasn't just tenant number 231, or at least I didn't feel like I was! They were very accommodating and went above and beyond what I would have expected on a few occasions. There's probably more I could wax lyrical about, although I fear this review is becoming a bit if a rambling tale. Suffice to say, I would heartily recommend Martin & Co to anyone who would listen to me.

One of the worst letting agents in Scotland. I have rented a house through them but unfortunately needed to vacant the property due to my wife health reasons. Just because I have moved out with in 3 months they have deducted £700 out of £825 my deposit for lame reasons. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Friendly, reliable, honest and the most professional company I have ever dealt with. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody who is considering using their services. The initial valuation was thorough with no pressure to sign, and once the ball was rolling everything was carried out efficiently. My case manager kept me up to date frequently and always made time if I had any questions. I have just used the Martin & CO Dunfermline estate agency services to help sell my mothers house that she has been in for 42 years. The level of service we received from Donna & her sales team in the office was outstanding, from initial contact right through to the actual day of the sale . They were extremely pro active in the marketing to find viewers , who were all pre qualified prior to viewings , feedback from the team was almost instant & they excelled in the final negotiations to get the offer we were happy to accept. All this along with the understanding that their client had not sold a house in over 40 years, so it was refreshing to receive such great customer service.
