A huge thank you to Natasha at Martin & Co for helping me rent out my flat. As a new landlord, relocating and starting a new job at the same time, it’s been a pretty stressful period, so I really wanted the letting process to be as smooth and stress-free as possible. Natasha has been fantastic throughout. She’s kept in regular contact, answered my endless questions with patience, and consistently reassured me along the way. I’ve felt fully supported from start to finish. A special shoutout as well to Kiera and Sarah for their support. It’s clear the Dunfermline branch has a great team! My experience with Martin & Co has been fabulous, starting as a tenant in one of their properties in 2020 and culminating in my recent home purchase with them. From navigating home viewings during the pandemic to relocating, every step of the way has been positive. As a tenant, I found Sarah, Natasha, Donna, and Kiera consistently available to address any property concerns and provide support on various levels. Their personal service shines through, whether in property management or, more recently, facilitating my home buying process. A special thanks to Sarah and Natasha for your invaluable assistance. Viewings were lined up immediately, I received very prompt feedback after each viewing, communication flowed throughout the process. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish when selling a bungalow in Crossford. Natasha and the team kept us up to date at all stages and even arranged a final meter reading on day of key hand over. I would not hesitate in recommending you give Martin and Co a go if you need to sell……or buy I guess.

Natasha looked after my flat sale with a cheery professionalism that made the whole process a pleasure. Martin & Co were competitive in their rates, and I was confident using a national company, but it was Natasha’s positive and trustworthy approach that sealed the deal. And the best part was that I never had to chase for information. I was kept up to date regularly from viewings to closing. Very highly recommended.

I sadly have to say Martin & Co Dunfermline were helpful in me renting a property unfortunately ive been asked to vacate the property after less than 5 months as the landlord needs his place back . There is no support what so ever and a very harsh approach in leaving some one high and dry . Cant believe the law is 28 days notice and no support to find another place nothing. Not to mention costly

Charged 378 pounds for a clean of house and 360 to empty bins and garden clean. Garden had weeds growing which were not my fault as I was given a concrete garden. 360 pounds to remove a couple lights from the garage. We will take them to small claims court and I will dispute the deposit being taken with deposit protection scheme.

With regards to the one-star review you have left, we do feel that the comments made are not a fair reflection of the process that has taken place. An independent and official checkout inspection was completed at the end of your tenancy, dilapidation were identified in that report. We supplied you with the photographs taken during the checkout, which clearly show the condition in which the property was left and support the quotations obtained for the required works. Within the costs that you have mentioned above, you have excluded other items that were picked up and communicated to yourself. The landlord has instructed us to submit a claim for these costs from the deposit, and we have communicated the details of this to you in full. We have also tried to explain the process to you clearly via email throughout, however the responses we have received have made it difficult to continue a constructive dialogue. For this reason, we have continued to direct you to the formal Deposit Protection Scheme process, which is designed to provide an impartial resolution.

Martin’s in Dunfermline were our letting agents. They were always on the ball, very quick to inform us of any problems and arranging for solutions very speedily. Always friendly and helpful on the phone (our contact was almost exclusively via phone and email). We were with them for over 9 years and we built up up a very good relationship over that time. The whole team made it so much easier to be distance landlords. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone as letting and estate agents. Thank you Martin and Co.

They get 1 star. I will stay clear ... I arranged for a viewing of one of their property. Took time off work to accommodate their time slot given. Met at the property with the agent, Very little was said about the property itself and more so, about the number of viewings they have about the property and the deposits required . .I did put my name down,and was told that it would be shortlisted and will find out in 2 days .. It,s been over a week. And still no news. Not sure it this was the norm,rhat they just dont contact you if your application is not successful . I will not use their services again and would not recommend them ever.

Hi Patrick I have spoken to the viewing person and you had stated at the viewing that you did not want to pay the full price for the property as you did not think it was worth it. You were advised if you would like to take it any further you would have to contact the office to note your interest. There was no contact made to the office to express your interest. Not every easy finding a house with these when you are a foreigner yo go for viewing submit all paper work and they go quite ,a month later same house is still on the market
